Hi there (newbie)
Well, here I am led in the bath…..at 00:09am! And I’m utterly shattered for these regular (nightly) twilight baths to help my legs from constantly moving in the bed, no matter what my ‘sleeping’ position (sleep, what was that again?). My restless legs joined my body a couple of years ago but would annoy

How often should we have erythropoietin and LDH checked?
Hi there, When I was seeing my specialist at Vanderbilt, he was checking my Erythropoietin and LDH every 2-3 months. My local Heme/Onc doctor never orders anything but a CBC. I have been off HU since March 11 because it was making me feel horrible and I was supposed to start Besremi which was denied

Heart attacks associated with amitriptyline?
I had a heart attack and stent fitted December last year. On the usual meds, i. e. Aspirin, clopidogrel, statins, beta blockers, BP tablets. I thought I had trigeminal neuralgia for years on and off until I saw a neurologist last week but he said he suspects my condition is hemicrania continua, very

Questions about Jakafi
Good morning everyone, I have PV. I am 75 and was diagnosed about 5 years ago. For the most part I feel fine. My Hematologist would like me to try Jakafi. I had a bad reaction to Hydroxy and Anagrelide. Currently on aspirin and clopidigrel (Plavix) and other than lots of bruising, no other issues

Very dry skin
Had HA and stent fitted last December. On aspirin, clopidogrel, bisoprolol, ramipril, atovorstatin, pantoprazole. Has anyone experienced very dry skin all over, especially on legs? I am using aqueous cream twice a day but skin keeps flaking off. Would one of these tablets cause this? Lily

Progyluton
Aww man so lady fairy arrived yesterday so I contacted the clinic to see if I should start my meds this morning or tomorrow morning. They never got back to me so I took one progyluton and an aspirin this morning (it’s usually the day after periods start) I’ve just had an email saying wait until tomorrow

asprin
jusr read this , which might be good for some ,aspirin, the humblest of medicines, surely merits that accolade after last week's research reported in The Lancet showing that regular small doses reduce the risk of many cancers, some by up to 54%. (We already knew that aspirin helps prevent heart attacks

Effect of stress on PV
I was diagnosed with PV (jak2) in December 2018. I’m on daily Hydroxy and aspirin with the odd venesection and generally my condition is stable. The last couple of weeks I’ve been under a lot of stress and I feel as unwell today as I did pre diagnosis. Could this be caused by the stress?

Clexane 🙈 advice needed 🌻
Hello my lovely ladies hope you are all well and enjoying some nice weather wherever you are 🌻🤗❤️🍀🌞 I'm on clexane for the first time and it stings so bad once injected. I guess due to being on aspirin and blood thinners too I bruise so much. I didn't get a single bruise when I was stimming but now

Red Skin Rash - Anyone Else ? - Meds ?
Hi, All, A few weeks ago I noticed a red rash on my back which disappears on pressure? I got to see a dermatologist who remains unsure and will monitor but his suspicion is a local eruption caused by my long term heart meds. Just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar ? I’m on Ramipril, Asprin
