Stopping anticoagulation for Left gastric artery embolisation (LGAE) for weight loss trial
I have been invited to take part in the EMBIO trial which involves having a gastric artery
embolisation
procedure which done by catheter and they say is very similar to other catheter angiogram procedures.

Son in Canada looks to Germany for treatment
Our 56 year old son started with colon cancer, which progressed to lung cancer and now a tumor has been discovered by his sciatica nerve. He has been continually been sent for more radiation treatments that don't seem to be working. He has heard of a doctor in Germany who uses different techniques

PAE - any experiences?
I've been given a reprieve from my Millin procedure, and I just came upon information on the PAE prostate procedure. Does the community have any thoughts? "Prostate artery embolization (PAE) is a new, minimally invasive procedure used to treat BPH. " "......inserts a small catheter, or hollow tube

👋Has anyone’s partner experienced improved Sperm Quality/DNA fragmentation damage after Varicocele operation?
Hi lovelies! 7 years ago we found out that my partner has really poor sperm quality and that was the reason we first got referred to IVF. 1 1/2 years ago we found out he also has severe DNA damage through the sperm DNA comet test. We also finally went to see an urologist a year ago and they found moderate

It is only after the first IUI that I learned my uterine lining is on a thin side due to uterine
embolisation
I had in 2013 for several fibroids. At the time, doctors who did the
embolisation
claimed it would not influence my fertility chances.

Iodine Contrast Medium for UAE with Graves
My dr recommended UAE (uterine artery
embolisation
) after failed myomectomy but I am scared it will induce thyrotoxicosis or mess up my controlled graves due to contrast medium.

laparoscopy findings-what’s your thoughts?
Scans etc showed fibroids and one pedunculated (4cm) of which they were suggesting Utrine fibroid
embolisation
but this wasn’t possible due to the MRI showing it being in ‘broad contact’ with the sigmoid colon.

I'm New...
I've been going through fibroids for 2 years with relentless appointments with the hospital gynaecologist at the maternity ward in Aberdeen. Because of covid I can't see a radiologist about my Embolization so I have to continue with my injection for further 6 months until I get the Embolization. I will
