Pelvic congestion syndrome

Hi everyone, I recently had a lap to remove vaginal vault endo (this was my fifth recurrence) and whilst they were in there they also found pelvic congestion syndrome at the top of my vaginal wall. My surgeon was able to release the pressure on one side, but on the right side the veins were tangled around my ureter and has I only have one kidney, it was deemed too high risk to remove surgically. My consultant has recommend that I now have to undergo a pelvic embolisation, which is performed by a specialist radiographer. I just wondered if anyone else had had this procedure and whether it had helped as the congestion is still causing some pain and bladder irritation and I’m feeling a bit disheartened by it all. Thank you!
