Can anyone share their experience with me on how they got through Embolisation treatment as it is looking like I'm going to get it done very soon.

Hiya. I had the procedure done beginning of May this year. Your consultant should have already told you about what to expect. Every woman is different with the pain and recovery. I will be honest the first 2 weeks were the worst for pain, 3rd and 4th week I got very tired. I still get tired but feeling great. Glad the blood clots and heavy bleeding have stopped. Anaemia wasn't nice.

Hi, Thank you for replying to my post and taking the time. My consultant has told me what to expect but that doesn't stop me from worrying ( I'm a typical worrier). Thank you for sharing your experience with me.

It's natural to worry. I worried too. Make sure you get plenty of rest afterwards. Rest helps with the recovery. Wishing you good luck.

Thank you so much for responding and your kind words. It really helps to speak to people like you in the world who are nice and understanding out there. It really shows I'm not alone going through this in the world as long as we all share kindness and understanding for each other.
