Ablation Done
After much worrying on my part, I had my ablation done at Barts on Friday and I'm not dead yet! Despite the long list of side effects which might have occurred according to the AF Ablation help sheet, all I had was a mild(ish) migraine on the Friday night. No problems with bleeding from the site or indeed

LBBB.
Just been disagnosed with LBBB that my GP missed 1 year ago and allowed me to go on antibiotics for past nasal drip which had to have a normal heart: hence the ECG . 1 year later I applied for whole of life insurance and their doctor found it in my records and queried why my doctor had not done cardiac

Topping up my loyalty points...
Thought I ought to pop in for a quick update on my updates.Been back in hospital since Friday evening. For those of you who have been following my frequent flyer trips to A&E in recent weeks. Was watching Friday's TdF highlights when suddenly gripped by chest pain which went into arms. Followed my chest

Advice Pls…
I had a sudden heart attack in December 2022 aged 43. Everything came as a surprise as I’m not over weight and I am generally healthy. I was fitted with 2 stents. I completed my 8 weeks of rehab and was discharged from the hospital appointments at 3 months. After my heart attack I kept getting a pushing

I have been having a dripping feeling in my chest. I have recorded this on my ecg on my Apple Watch and the feeling coincided with 2 heart beats close together in quick succession (as shown) I went to GP (twice in one day - other was with regards to the extensive bruises that have starting appearing

bradycardia interrupting sleep
I’m waking up during the night with low heart rate 42-48 bpm and a feeling that my heart is labouring. This is usually twice in the night and I often can’t get back to sleep after 4.00am. I think sleeping on my back doesn’t help ( I try not to) and my other half tells me I snore. Tried all the sleep

CRT pacemaker
Hi, Just had a CRT pacemaker fitted. No complications. Cannot believe all my aches, ie, back ache and leg aches when I sent off walking have gone. I didn’t know they were related to my heart failure. The appointment to get it fitted came around extremely quickly. I couldn’t understand it as with meds

Pre Syncope/Right Bundle Branch Block
PAF for a number of years now, fairly well controlled with medication of Flecainide, Apixaban, Bisoprolol. The last 3 months episodes of AF have increased. But worryingly for the first time I've had 3 episodes of Pre syncope a couple of second period where I think I'm going to pass out. After effects

choice between meds and ablation
hi. I was diagnosed with af back in march after having episodes for around 12-18 months. As per usual they were getting worse and more frequent each time. In march this year, it was actually caught on ECG at a@e hence the diagnosis. Since then, I have had 2 echocardiograms (Nhs and private) both

Update
They tried to contact me yesterday but call wouldn't go through. So they phoned me today I spoke with a specialist nurse for a good 20 minutes. And she listend to everything I had to say and she wasn't concerned that it was heart related which is a huge weight off my mind! 😅. Wow as I'm making this

Does anyone else have a high heart rate 140+ after taking percocet and feeling dizzy like your going to die?
I have been taking Percocet for years 2-3 a day for several years. In the past year and now often when I take percocet my heart can race over 140 beats per minute . I had an echo and ekg and numerous other heart tests. My cardiologist said my heart was good and he has no answers for me.
