Do I need to worry?
Hi everyone, Many thanks in advance for any time, help and insight anyone can give me. I may not be in the right place as I have no heart conditions but I am a little worried about things. Also apologies as I am not sure how brief I can keep this as I have to give some background. I have been rather

Any experience of Propranolol 10mg?
I was described this by an A&E doctor in August. I believe his opinion was that I had an anxiety but I believe my high heart rate, palpitations and dizziness was caused by 2nd vaccine. About a month before I ended up in A&E I started having palpitations with high heart rate accompanied with dizziness

Well it finally happened
I’ve been super stressed lately wrecking havoc on my stomach and other symptoms but I wasn’t prepared to have on or the worst panic attacks of my life during a job interview yesterday. It was so bad that I had them call me an ambulance but of course as the ambulance got there my senses started dying

The Importance of reading Patient Information Leaflets.
I saw my GP yesterday re issues I'm having with a slipped disc, as a result of that visit here's an email I've just sent to the surgery. Hi, I saw Dr xxxxx yesterday morning, he prescribed me some Amitriptyline 10mg. I read the patient information in the medication and it states Do not take Amitriptyline

Update to previous post
I saw the GP yesterday for a follow-up to my on-going problems. The 24 hour blood pressure monitor showed blood pressure ok but she’s still not had the results of the 7-day ECG monitor. In the meantime, I still have a heart beat which is still running between 90 and 100bpm. The GP could offer no explanation

Advice on Heart Failure
I've been diagnosed with heart failure, when I'm normally a fit and healthy guy. Cant walk more than 10 paces up the stairs or sleep due to breathlessness. GP has sent me for ecg, bloods and chest x ray. I had to beg for an echo cardiogram (not had yet). There seems to be no urgency to treat me, and

Hi all ! Does anyone on here wear an Apple Watch ? And if so do you know how accurate the Ecg readings are ? I know the heart rate is fairly accurate but I’m getting strange readings on the Ecg ! ( not that I can interpret them ! )

Chest/Rib cage pain
Hey, Hoping someone can give some advice or at least put my mind at ease. I have been suffering with chest pains for months now, I have had several Dr appointments (all over the phone) and have been sent for chest X-rays and ECG which both came back normal. I am currently waiting for a blood test appointment

Can cardiomyopathy or heart failure cause angina?
I spent 8 hours in A&E yesterday after experiencing mild chest pains. Initially I was afraid it might be a heart attack but that was ruled out after blood test, ECG and chest x-ray. Finally I saw a consultant who thinks I was experiencing angina when exerting myself. Six years ago when my dilated

Could this be PMR related?
Having lived with PMR for almost 5 years, I really felt I understood this illness pretty well but I’m having different issues just now and am having pain around the midrib area, accompanied by Heart beat of around 140bpm and blood pressure of 205/95. This started a couple of months ago and I was taken

Blood Pressure
In the past six days my blood pressure has gone from being normal to high, some readings frighteningly so. All of this is due to having a feeling of pressure on my chest which started a week ago and has been stressing me out completely. I keep on taking my blood pressure over and over, but the more

Shoulder Aches
I'm new here, so I may be over explaining things a bit. So, I went to the ER two weeks back for left chest pain/shoulder pain. Convinced it was a heartattack. They ran blood tests, a ecg, a ct scan with contrast and a ultrasound to rule out bloodclots/pulmonary embolism. They told me my lungs and heart

Update on Cryoablation 3 weeks ago.
After being extremely nervous about the ablation I finally had it done and it really wasn't that big a deal. I was totally knocked out so do not remember anything and felt fine when I woke up. The next day I noticed my neck and chest/stomach area felt just a little sore, almost like I did too many sit-ups
