Afib heat laser Ablation
Here's a quick back round. 61 years old. Have had Afib off and on for 25+ years. So after countless Cardioversions, numerous Homeopathic regimens and a try of SotaloI (which was the worst by the way). I always ended up back in Afib along with the terrible quality of life that goes with it within days

I think my first cardioversion failed
I'm new here. I was diagnosed with Afib Dec 2021 by my GP. I saw a Cardiologist in June 2022 and he recommended a cardioversion. I had a cardioversion done on late June it was successful after one shock. My heart rate went from high 90 to 50. But after a week my heart rate went back to 90. My thoughts

Anxiety with Afib
Hi have had Afib episodes for 20 years, usually only for couple of hours, helped by metoprolol. I was in Resus overnight for thelast episode, had 3 different IV beta blockers, to no avail, and was finally given oral Flecainide, which worked after 40 minutes, and prevented cardioversion.. That was

Is Atrial Fibrillation connected to the Thyroid?
I am wondering if through a change in thyroid hormone type and dosage one can modify or cure Atrial Fibrillation? Several here have mentioned that irregular heartbeat or palpitations have decreased with the use of T3, however, I don't recall reading anything about adjustments in hormone replacement

In afib day after ablation
I just had a cryo ablation 4 days ago. I woke up from the procedure in afib. I went back in rhythm but the next day afib started again and continued for 3 days. Is this normal or did it not work? I have also been having sulfur burps and diarrhea. I’m 36years old… every dr I’ve seen has never seen afib

Heart having a funny few minutes!
Anyone know what this dip means on the ecg? I am not concerned about the bradycardia as I take meds. But could really feel this beat happening and felt weird. Different from a fib.

PP and Hypnobirthing
Hi I did Hypnobirthing with my first child but I was told that you can not be hypnotised once you've had PP. I was just wondering does anyone know if that includes using Hypnobirthing for a following pregnancy? I am sure breathing and tens will be fine it's just the tapes that you listen to prior

Using a Heart Rate monitor chest strap after Ablation
Has anyone used a HRM chest strap after a pvi ablation and had strange readings even though a manual pulse check is regular and in control? I was wondering if the strap picks up the electrical activity still going on in the Pulmonary Veins but cant get past the ablation sites into the heart to cause

Possible AF
Last Sunday I had a dreadful accident. I either slipped or tripped in the kitchen. I had a kettle full of boiling water in my hand at the time. The result was that I badly scalded my leg and was taken by ambulance to my nearest A&E hospital which is 20 plus miles away. Whilst enroute the paramedics did
