Tens Machine
hi everyone I have had sciatica for nearly four weeks, excruciating pain in calf and lower back. Cocodamol, osteopath, physio and GP but no relief. I have ordered a tens machine and wondered if anyone else has used one and if it’s ok to use with AbFib. Thanks

Comments about Metropolol
I don’t read much mentioned about Metropolol. I have been prescribed Eliquis and Metropolol for AFib and wonder why the majority of afibers are not taking this combination. I would love to read comments about especially the drug Metropolol! And why do I read the mention of some wanting to get off Eliquis

Flecanide daily
I was diagnosed with PAF in 2018 and was originally on Bisoprolol now changed to Nebivolol which suited me better. I was taking 5mg of Nebivolol with Flecanide as a PIP which kept my episodes to 2 or 3 a year. I had to drop the dose as started to deal faint, off balance and dizzy last summer and it

To Kardia or not to Kardia............
Hello everyone, although I have replied to other people’s posts, this is the first question I’ve asked for myself. Knowing that many of you use Kardia’s, I’m hoping you can help me to make up my mind over a possible upgrade to the 6L version. First a bit of background; I was diagnosed with AF in late

When is bradycardia afib?
I think I am confused about what is wrong with me. I thought I noticed something wrong with my heartbeat in that it didn't seem to be following the normal procedure of going faster when I exercised then slowing down when I rested. My GP checkef it with a simple EKG and immediately saw something wrong

K2 with D3
Can anyone advise me re K2 please? I take between 3000-6000 iu D3 per day and have always been under the impression that it was imperative to take K2 with it. However, I have Atrial Fibrillation (I'm not on any prescription meds, only supplements which are said to thin the blood) so I'm a little wary

Eligard Question
Hi all. I've had two injections 3 months apart, so the end of this month is the end of my 6-month ADT treatment for now. Currently experiencing moderate but uncomfortable breast swelling and wondering if this will be a reversible condition? If so, will it resolve on its own or will I need to contact

Alcohol Abstinence in Drinkers with Atrial Fibrillation
Over time, alcohol use and its effect on Afib has been a point of discussion on this forum. Below is a link to a 2020 study published in the New England Journal of Medicine which addresses this topic. The conclusions are fairly clear: CONCLUSIONS Abstinence from alcohol reduced arrhythmia recurrences

Potential ICD
Hi My husband has just had a letter following his latest echo cardiogram and apparently his ejection fraction is now 32 (it was in the 40s last year). The letter has stated that he's being considered for an ICD and he's very stressed about this. Firstly, is there anything he could be doing to improve
