I'm an (undiagnosed for ADHD) 57 yr old woman. On my own I have taken several online tests for adult ADHD Inattentive Type and executive functioning and scored high and was directed to see a professional. I've read several books on women with ADHD and it explains so much about my life. I can recognize

So posted a few times on here a while back . Things ain’t any better . Recap, had what I feel was a breakdown in 2020, and had started a new self employed business , but by 2020, after only a year , it all became too much . Have been on off anti depressants since 92, and at this point the dr just started

Son keeps zoning out and giggle
Hi, I'm new here and my son (7 y/o) was diagnosed with ADHD. The biggest problem was that he was daydreaming, very hyper, lack of concentration. He was constantly playing with his hands like they were the toys. And 2 months ago he started zoning out and giggle. Like the emotions on his face changes ,

Terrible Insomnia w/ Adderall XR
Anyone else experience terrible insomnia from Adderall XR? How did you get over it? I'm averaging 4 hours of sleep, unless I take an Ambian, which is not sustainable. I've started taking the 20mg pill at 4am, as opposed to 8am, which after several days has yet to help me get to sleep at a reasonable

First time Adderall XR use- is this normal?
Hi all! After years of putting it off because of fear of doctors/medication I have finally been diagnosed with ADHD inattentive. I took my first dose of Adderall XR (20mg) yesterday for the first time and after about an hour/2 my brain finally felt like it was resting (I guess “at peace” is how I would

Mannitol and B1: What’s going on?
Last September, my hwp for 16 years, started mannitol. Over the next months, this gradually allowed him to reduce his dopamine meds, first eliminating the Neupro patch, then gradually eliminating Rytary. He has cognitive impairment and too much of those 2 meds would cause hallucinations. But dialing

Looking for some tech help to improve my life.
I want to improve my quality of life and be more productive. I am successful at work and have done a lot to improve there. I have a bullet journal that I use but not as much as I use to. I attend Church and my faith is important to me. I'm an extrovert but don't have many friends. I have people I talk

SSRI withdrawal and RLS
I'm 63 and have been on antidepressants of one type or another for over 30 years. I started on nortryptiline, switched to paxil, effexor, celexa, and have been on lexapro (escitalopram) for nearly two decades, About seven years ago, I developed RLS. It started gradually, and has increased in frequency

Side effects from switching between stimulants?
Hello! I spent the last month on Vyvanse and did not love it. I switched back to Adderall XR for a three days and now am back on the generic XR, which is what worked the best for me in the past (there was an insurance change that had me on the brand name XR, which caused a bunch of unpleasant side effects

Effexor? Thoughts?
My neurologist has mentioned taking Effexor to possible help with my migraines. I deal with GAD and the chronic migraines are getting unbearable. In the past I have been on lexapro and Prozac didn’t really notice a drastic change. I wish my body could work itself out with the migraine and anxiety but

Kind of vent, kind of looking for advice (psychiatrist, trying to get diagnosed)
I type a lot so if you don't care about the rant feel free to skip to the bottom lol. So I've been upset about my last psych appointment for awhile, both because it was invalidating and hurtful, and because it leaves me feeling like I have no good options. I'd like to vent, and maybe get advice about

Extended Release Medication Problems
I find I crash hard from Adderall XR but not the IR. Anyone else have those issues? I've heard some people have problems with extended release medications but can't find any research on it to present to my doctor.

Hello, my name is Anna , does anyone have any experience being on Effexor for anxiety and depression (low mood)? If so, did you taper off, we’re the withdrawals bad?

Adderall XR experience.
We are on day 3 of 10mg adderall XR with my 6 year old son. It’s been heartbreaking so far. He’s so irritable and emotional. The sitter says he hasn’t even laughed or smiled today. We are trying to give it a good week, but gosh… it’s hard to know what to do!
