Effexor sr

I am wondering if anyone has been on effexor sr and stopped using it and then resumed and did it still work?

I was effexor and for awhile it worked. Then it pooped and I went off it. Went back on because another med was supposed to work in combination. When I was on the two, it worked. But the 2nd one gave me bad side effects and now only with effexor it marginally works. Why are you resuming use?

Do you take any other medications? May be with an additional med prescribed it will work really well. Abilify and/or Lamictal work to enhance antidepressant.

I have been told effexor and Mirtzapine work well but i am reluctant to try .

Mirtazipine is a rougher med to have to take. Ask about the ones I mentioned. No side effects for me. A little in the beginning.

My husband has been on it fir ten yrs not working anymore. No mixing antidepressants like these add ons.I could barely tolerate wen the shrink added wellbutrin to my paxil. Made me sick. Went off two days and back to paxil which is not helping anymore for me. I now am trying celexa i just dropped the paxil went on celexa low dose 10 mg i was on 20 mg paxil. Im determined to see if this will be a goid change but now getting brain zaps. And nausea which i expected. Im going to do this for 2wks i adjusted to 20mg today not much nausea. But still brain zaps. Im gonna call my dr today. Only four days today. Uggh.

Lexapeo very low side effects. But did nothing for depression.

What a horrible trip we have to go on. Sometimes I think its a vengeful creator that randomly sh__s on some of us. Excuse my words.
