so after everything with my uncle, I’ve got my own ecg this week, as been getting flutters and pain in left side of chest. Already suffer from high blood pressure, only 32 so praying it’s clear and just panic. But also my family history both sides, with what uncle has gone through has scared me. Currently on ramipril and amlodipine

Given your upset about your uncle and your high BP its understandable you are feeling concerned about your own health, its only natural. After I lost my mother when I was in my 20’s to cancer I thought all my health issues as they popped up were the same as my mum. It took me a long long time to get some peace on that front.

Get checked out as you are doing and see your GP if you are unsure and pains arent lessening. Stress wont be helping but ensure you get referred to a cardiologist if there is anything not right. Always better to be safe than sorry.

Dont neglect your emotional health as you need to get this in order for peace and wellbeing and it wilk help your physical symptoms too hopefully. You are doing the right thing getting checked out. Rest in the knowledge that you are doing all you can to protect your physical and emotional health. Best wishes.

thank you for your kind words, I lost my own father in my early 20s it definitely leaves a mark. I did get told by my nurse I need to slow down, so maybe she knows I’m not coping well

Sorry you too had an early parental bereavement. Be kind to yourself and find any way you can to sooth your mind. You are young, life will get back on track, honestly it will.

So sorry to read what youve been through. You are doing the right thing by getting your symptoms checked out rather than just assuming they are the result of anxiety. I can only echo meadfoot's thoughts and wish you all the best for the future.
