struggling with atrial flutter
just wondering if any of you have had problems controlling atrial flutter (mine is atypical). Most posts I read are about atrial fibrillation. I had an incomplete and unsuccessful ablation in March, for typical flutter, but recently my symptoms are increasingly worse. I am troubled by a constant fast

Well I had my ECG at the surgery today and the report shows a result with a few issues that included abnormal left axis deviation and non specific st abnormality amongst others. Obviously this is all gobbledygook to me but the first time since I was diagnosed with AF that I’ve had an abnormal ECG .

Update on wide QRS Kardia reading
Well the arrhythmia team finally got back to me yesterday. As far as they can tell from the ECG I sent them they can see a delay in the transmission of electrical signals from the ventricles to the atrium causing my symptoms. It feels like ectopics but the rhythm is normal . They have advised me to get

Hello. I’ve been undergoing some cardiac tests over the past few months. In November I stopped taking propranolol after many years. I had taken it to prevent migraine but it stopped being effective. Within days after stopping, I began to feel my heart racing and fluttering and just beating really hard

New here saying hello!
Hello. I am a 62 year old male from UK. In March I had chest pain, dizziness, fast heart rate. I was taken to A & E. AF was thought the likely cause. Following an echocardiogram (normal) a 24 hour ECG (not normal - mean HR 118 peaking at 140 and in AF most of the time) and a CT angiogram (still

High fever and AF
My daughter who is 62 has just been in hospital with her third episode of sepsis. She wrote "The registrar looked at my Apple Watch ecg from just before I went back to A&E last Tuesday. It shows that I had atrial fibrillation. She said that it isn’t uncommon for this to happen when people are unwell

ECG Results
Hello. I have been here before regarding a tight chest issue that last year. Ended up having a CT angiogram to check for angina but was given an all clear (at least for regular angina). I do still however get occasional tight chest symptoms, admittedly I suffer from anxiety so that probably doesn't help

Had Ablation in '23 lately suffering from frequent PAC's.
Was wondering if any of you fine folks are having or have had bouts of frequent PAC's and what you are doing or what your doctor prescribed to get rid of them. I'm still in sinus rhythm according to my EKG but experiencing PAC's daily. I am currently on no antiarrhythmics and on Metoprolol for rate

breathlessness
had an MI 9 weeks ago at home with CPR and shocks as posted before. Have been diagnosed with pericarditis a few weeks back too. Last couple of days I’ve felt as though I have an asthmatic breathless feeling (which I got mildly before anyway, so know the sensation). No asthma medicines worked. Panicking
