Small sharp pains when heart beating
went really white no colour, I went home and phoned the doctor for some advice they think the small sharp pains might be heart related and the head sweating and confusion is because I have been overdoing things, They asked if I wanted to Mark an appointment to see doctor I said not because I had a

AV Node Ablation and Pacemaker
In the meantime he has doubled my digoxin dose and I will be repeating the 24 hour ECG monitoring and the
Echocardiogram
at a different hospital where he practices. The ablation and pacemaker procedure has a long waiting list. He mentioned 2 years, š That would make me 76, possibly 77 years old!

Rather scared. What does this mean?
I now have to wait for an
echocardiogram
. Is the ejection fraction going to be lower because I have af? My fitness levels are improving little by little. I walked 3/4 of a km tonight.

Actual appointment face to face with an actual human!
After being sent to A&E last November by GP, diagnosed with AF and discharged with meds, then an
echocardiogram
beginning of March, I have an actual appointment booked with an arrythmia nurse end of July! Still a little bit in shock that I'll get to talk to someone!

Exercise makes my AF worse (part 2)
Doc didn't want to tweak my meds - he said my consultant could do that after I've had the 48hr Holter I'm due for on Tuesday (and at some point an
echocardiogram
he's booking me in for). Fingers crossed we may know more then.

Will the cardio order an

Persistent AF, Diltiazem, side effects or Menopause??
At my last call with her (1 hour) my cardiologist (who is very lovely btw) - arranged for another
echocardiogram
as my last one was a year ago (I have no other co-morbidites and my heart was all clear last year)... not yet had those results.

Update -Having a laugh- Left Ventricular Hypertrophy
Hi guys, so 3 days ago Iāve received the results from Heartscan , a private
echocardiogram
that is in Newcastle. The results was funny, confusing and annoying, because Iāve been going trough so much stress when I was searching what I have and also for when I found what I have.

So I got my results of the
echocardiogram
a couple of weeks ago. Then we went away in the caravan so I could ignore the results. Got back, read my results and I felt my shoulders flump.. I have signs, they reckon, that I have a high possibility of Pulmonary hypertension.

Meds Review.
On one of my recent stays in hospital I was given an
echocardiogram
, it was unusually quiet and the guy needed someone to practice on š. As well as heart he looked at my spleen, gall bladder, kidneys, lungs and liver.

Right Bundle Branch Block(RBBB)
I have an
Echocardiogram
set for this coming Tuesday. I wonder if this could be a cause for my feeling dizzy and weak at times as well as my endurance seems shot to h***. Try as I am able to, I am struggling to increase my endurance.

First Echocardiogram Ever
It's 4:30 am here in this valley. I'm up, showered and about to have breakfast. In a little while, when it is not so dark, we are heading off for an 8:00 appointment in a town that's about two hours drive away. I've been told echocardiograms are fascinating to witness so I'm quite interested in this

I was checked out 2.5 years ago for similar problem and also had an
echocardiogram
which was normal for ageā¦ I am 66. Doctors donāt seem unduly concerned but I am worried because they have increased in number. Your comments would be appreciated.
