I had echocardiogram test 10yrs ago, consultant told a damaged heart muscle, and cardiomyopathy was mentioned, but not to worry, happy me I won't then,! I had so much stress through surgery/ nhs admin, notes missing, cancellations etc', I gave up and looked really well after myself, I'm 73 male, I recently didn't feel well and had breathing/ heart flutter probs, I finally went to see my doctor, she's lovelly and helpful, she pulled a note I'd never seen before, does anyone have an idea what this diagnosis is please, " mildLV systolic disfunction on echo with hypokinetic basal inferior / septum wall .. , .. the doc & nurse dealing with my new tests ( ecg blood etc) mentioned a word ventricular? when I asked what's that ? heartfailure from both of them, I'm sort of in a worry because my doc is away until my next appointment 21st Feb, should I be worrying about matters ?? thanks to anyone who can help clarify that diagnosis !!
