Just joined, not sure if I'm in the right group
I hope I joined the right group, please let me know if I'm in the wrong place. Today I got diagnosed with ulcerative proctitis, bulbitis duodenitis (? I'm trying to translate from German), and I also have a very low level of diamine oxidase. I was prescribed Pantoparazole (40mg 30 tabs), Mesalazin (

Oxycontin
Having had 13 pretty good years on

Update after supplements
I mentioned I received lab results that showed my
dopamine
and norepinephrine levels were extremely high. It has now been 3 weeks on the supplements that my Naturopathic doctor prescribed me. One of the pills I take called Calm PRT has helped me SO much.

Altremorine - a cure?!
These Spanish scientists seem to be claiming that this compound not only delivers
dopamine
to the brain but it seems to have neuroprotective abilities and may slow or halt the progress of the disease. With no side effects. Hallelujah!

Type 1 Diabetes: Molecule Identified to Regenerate Insulin-Producing Cells
Unlike
dopamine
or adrenaline, it doesn't have a stimulating effect. In the body, GABA is synthesized from an amino acid called glutamic acid. Dietary sources of glutamic acid include cod, soybeans, almonds, cheese (Parmesan, Gouda, Edam, Gruyère) and veal.

Parkinson’s Disease Psychosis, particularly hallucinations
Current treatments for PDP have been adapted from
dopamine
antagonists used to treat psychosis in other conditions, such as schizophrenia. Typical antipsychotics, as well as some atypical antipsychotics, worsen PD motor symptoms due to blockade of
dopamine
D2 receptors.

Pramipexole versus Neupro patch.
I would love to hear from people who find relief from the patch, especially if they have swapped from using
dopamine
medications.

Thanksgiving highlights the benefits of gratitude
No matter where you fall on the happiness spectrum, expressing gratitude can make you feel happier by creating a surge of feel-good brain chemicals like
dopamine
, serotonin, and oxytocin. 2. Gratitude creates better relationships.

One of my best friends got Parkinson's ... this is my journey to find a cure for him...it is going well !
Segal decided to investigate how to dissolve the alpha-synuclein ("AS") clumps that start to aggregate on the Substentia Nigra, in Parkinson's patient's brain, and to kill the
dopamine
neurons that produce
dopamine

Have You Tried a Dopamine Agonist?
Both the generics and brand names are drugs called
dopamine
agonists and although fantastic for a lot of people, they are not for everyone because there are side effects with every drug. Again, I consider myself very lucky to have found one that has worked successfully for 20 years.
