A good Consultant that knows about RLS, Augmentation and things in the UK

The whole GP practice is clued up. They have my notes and references, including those in the States. They are

Not all angina pains are heart related.
I had a thread recently about my wife having chest pain, jaw pain and arm pain and having to wait 5 hours for an ambulance and another 4 hours to be finally wheeled into A&E. She had an x-ray and blood tests done. GTN spray immediately stopped the pains and she was discharged with no diagnosis. This

My father is getting a lot worse, all chemos failed, hormone therapy did not work either, genetic testing revealed no mutation and he now has very painful metastasis all over his spine ( no organs). PSA is 1900 and alcalina phosphates are high also. My father has an appointment on Thursday next week

Obstructed defecation syndrome
I have suffered from IBS all my life (i`m in my 60s), mainly with occasional bouts of diarhoea and pain, but about 5 years ago the symptoms changed. I needed to go to the loo at least 5 times every day but didn`t have diarhoea and struggled to pass motions even when they were soft, and always felt

Cancer Doctor Recommends Xofigo (Radium 223) Because PSA is Rising Again After 10 Months of ADT with Firmagon and Zytiga
My PSA started rising again 2 months ago. It is now at 37. The highest PSA was 160 when this all started about a year ago. Testosterone is still negligible. Recent bone scan shows some improvement in old bone metastases but a couple of new ones just popped up. The VA oncologist is scheduling me for

Anyone else had intolerance to fillers in Levothyroxine tablets?
Hi there. Just found this site after frustration and lack of interest in my case by doctors and pharmacies. Having been diagnosed with underactive thyroid 16 years ago I was put on Levothyroxine tablets of varying strengths after regular blood tests and I was feeling pretty good most of the time.

Acute coronary syndrome
Hubby had several incidents of chest pain last night, GTN and aspirin didn’t help. After four hours ambulance arrived and he was taken to local A& E, he had ECGS and bloods done, didn’t see doctor until four this morning. We have blood results and other documents e mailed so I was checking his results

Lecicarbon A suppositories
I`ve been diagnosed with evacuatory dysfunction and last week saw a colorectal surgeon privately who has referred me for a proctogram but in the meantime suggested I should try Lecicarbon suppositories instead of glycerol. He didn`t give me a prescription but said I can buy them over the counter. Looking

Diet Supplements
Once again unable to sleep. Thinking about my diet. I’m having some stomach and digestive investigations. My stomach is now so distended and solid with it. It looks like I have someone else’s abdomen and my own skinny arms and legs. It’s hurting my back. I am determined to boost my health this year by

The thyroid hormone converting enzyme human deiodinase 1 is inhibited by gold ions from inorganic salts, organic substances, ...
All that glisters… Not in the least clear whether this is likely to be of interest or significance to anyone. But I do think that the impact of anything on thyroid-related enzymes is an important avenue. [i]Chem Biol Interact . 2021 Oct 15;109709. doi: 10.1016/j.cbi.2021.109709. Online ahead of print

How to persuade doctor to increase my Levo?
From reading posts on here I am aware that T4 and T3 should more often than not be in the upper quartile of the range for optimal wellbeing. Mine isn't and although I don't feel too ill I definitely don't feel in tip top health. My results are as follows:- Serum free T3 3.8 (range 3.1-6.8) Serum Ferritin

Rhubarb Complex
Would anyone who uses this or has used please share their opinion? I would be using it for contipation, and am using fybergel and docusate at the moment. I am very bloated and still constipated but I am going to the toilet. I am concerned about how long it takes to work and if it gives urgency. At work

If I exert myself (eg spend 1 or 2 hours gardening) maybe 2 hours after I stop I start to get slight chest pains palpitations I feel sick and unsteady gtn helps somewhat I had a STEMI 14 months ago. I had an angioplasty they could not fit stents because the artery was too wide. So they cleared the clot

Add on drugs that are usually prescribed by a consultant part 1 (LAMAs, add-on inhalers, theo)
Hi everyone - it’s been a while! Here is the next (probably long awaited 😅) infomercial! Here are some of the drugs commonly prescribed by a local consultant. That being said, GPs can (and do) prescribe a lot of them, but I’d suggest if you’re on one of them and are not under a hospital consultant (
