Hi,
I've tried taking this in water, juice and mashed banana with a touch of milk and find it impossible. Has anyone tried putting it in glycerine capsules and drinking plenty of water?
My itch is driving me nuts!!!!
Hope you're all keeping well

Hi I itch too !!there are lots of other drugs on the market thro consultant .Contact the pbc foundation for advice and chat to your consultant. Take care 🙂
I put mine in kefir and mix with porridge. However I no longer use it. Do ask your specialist for alternatives. The doctor could try the tablet colestagel but as gillrich suggests there are alternatives which are not licensed for GP prescription but are possible to get from the specialist such as Rifampicin or Naltrexone and others. The itch is miserable but you need to keep on at them to be heard IMO.
Hi, ask for the pill form. Colestipol.
I wish I could offer suggestions.Don
Sorry, I know from experience the itch is so maddening! I had it so bad, I had sores all over from scratching, I would scratch and bleed all the time. Kept me up all night, so I was extremely tired all the time. I tried all the usual medications and after months of trying and switching I finally landed on Zoloft(sounds strange I know) and it worked!!! I am so thankful my GI was willing to help me so aggressively. There are other meds to try and I hope you find the right one soon. Blessings, Anni
