Feeling confused
All I’ve had is a letter (summed up with the following): - The scan is compatible with a
dilated
cardiomyopathy
- the LVEF has improved to 42% (it was between 20-30% before starting meds so they’re doing their job).

Digoxin Advice
I am on a few different drugs including bisoprolil/perindipril & Apixaban for
dilated
cardiomyopathy
and then I got AF, a cardioversion didnt work and the cardiologist said I was heading for a pacemaker but he wanted to try Digoxin which has worked great for years.

Dilated left ventricle cardiomyopathy?
Google says
cardiomyopathy
and this looks serious. It is always
cardiomyopathy
if it's
dilated
and will that always need medication?

dilated cardiomyopathy and heart failure
I’m just coming up to a year since my diagnoses and things haven’t progressed like I’d hoped. I’m still sleeping a lot during the day I try to help with school runs and around the house but have chronic fatigue so I am unreliable to help. I’ve had my Disoprol reduced as the heart nurse said that could

just over 12 months ago. I have been on meds for 12 months and felt things were improving however on my recent echo my HF has gone from 41% down to 35%.

Overthinking!! ENTRESTO
My cardiologist said it was a wonder drug for severe
dilated
cardiomyopathy
now I'm scared. I couldn't sleep last night worrying and wondering if I am doing the right thing. I haven't been offered any alternative. I want to prolong my life not shorten it. Am I overthinking??

Hi everyone, 4 weeks since diagnosis of
Dilated
Cardiomyopathy
. Currently taking Losartan. EF 32. I am 53. So far had ct scan, echocardiogram, angiogram and mri scan. Consultant is definitely getting all the relevant information he needs. But, I feel that I'm not getting any interim support.

Is carvedilol making you cold?
I recently had my Carvedilol increased to 6.25mg twice a day. Lately, I am freezing to the bone. I turn my heating up and up and am still cold when everyone else says its like a sauna. I just wondered if anyone else has this? It could also be my recent addition of diabetes medication, Sitagliptin. Never
