How can I best use my CGM
I have acquired a continuous glucose monitor, a CGM. It will tell me my blood glucose every minute or so for 14 days, if I don't knock it off my arm 2 days after I start using it. I am very clumsy, so I may do that. Anyway, I thought I might crowd source the best way to use this device to learn how

Eating Fruits when you have Diabetes
I came across a very recent article on "How many servings of fruits a day can lower risk of type 2 diabetes?" written by Lakshita Jain, certified clinical dietician and a lecturer. The link is given at the bottom of the post. While it was in my mind to make an exclusive post on fruits, but this article

Glucose, Glucose-Fructose, Dextrose - WTF????
So, this is an ongoing (albeit internal) debate for me on the safety of glucose, glucose-fructose and
dextrose
. I asked this question of our 'friends' at Coeliac UK and was told, by food labelling law, if the
dextrose
, etc., was derived from a wheat source it would have to be labelled thus.

Need info on weight gain and PD
I am learning about different dialysis methods. My nephrologist is leaning toward PD when the time comes. However, I am hearing that PD can put on weight very easily. How do people deal with that? And how, if your diabetic, do you deal with the glucose solution?

Compounding pharmacy for NDT
I find I am intolerant to gluten/lactose/maize starch/
dextrose
(which is from corn starch), any of which are used as fillers in NDT tabs. N-Throid/WP Thyroid was 'clean' enough to suit me really well, but they have been (temporarily) withdrawn. Thanks.

Synthetic T3/T4 treatment and NHS endocrinologist.
I explained to her that I am intolerant to gluten/maize starch and maize derivatives like
dextrose
. She attempted to look up ingredients of generic types of T3/T4 used by NHS but was unsuccessful as she didn't know the names of the products.

Healthy breakfast
Filled me up and gave me energy after an extended fast, did not significantly raise glucose or insulin, cooked in butter so high in natural fats and delicious. What more could you (well, me at least) want?

What aspects of CMP (comprehensive metabolic panel) in my blood should I be most concerned ?
Hello fellow warriors! I had a blood draw today and have some comments and questions. Comment - I am the one to suggest every blood draw to monitor PSA, Testosterone , and other “numbers” that are reported from CMP results. I believe if I did not do this , I would never be asked about this . Is this

4 weeks of Keto
I have now been on Keto with TRE (16 hours) for 4 weeks exactly. I am going to switch to low carb from today, and my current plan is to go full Keto again in 2 months' time. I checked the ketones with a stick this morning and they are in a small amount range. I think that can be explained by the
