Cardio inversion worked on afib but not how I feel
Hi I wonder if anyone out there has had a similar experience to me following a cardioinversion. I had one Friday afternoon following three and a half weeks of Afib with a rate around 145 bpm. after 2 weeks I began to get weaker and more tired and despite being a coward I was genuinely glad to walk into

Has anyone experienced intermittent atrial tachycardia? Comes and goes every few minutes for the last six weeks.
I have a congenital heart defect which resulted in me needing five open heart surgeries in childhood. When I was 28 (in 2014) I had my first episode of sustained atrial flutter, which my EP believed was caused by scarring to the atrium following my surgeries. I've had four cardioversions and four ablations

Dried blood spot sampling offers an inexpensive way to widen access to antibody testing for COVID-19.
Currently antibody testing for COVID-19 uses serum or plasma, which requires a full intravenous blood sample, collected by a trained phlebotomist. For population-wide or high volume testing, the use of such sampling is limited by logistic challenges, resources, and costs, as well as the risk of SARS-CoV

Pain around heart area 2 weeks post open heart surgery
Hi everyone I had open heart surgery 2 weeks ago to repair my mitral valve. All went pretty much exactly to plan, other than a few unwanted side effects to drugs! I’m so happy and relieved! My question is: I keep getting pain on my left side around where my heart is. It feels like pulling/tugging (

SVT AVNRT ablation
A month ago my EP added me to the list for an electro study and ablation with a 3-4 month waiting list and at the time I asked if there were any cancellations to consider me. A week ago I was offered an ablation for this monday (2 days ago) and I took it. Now at home recovering. AVNRT successfully ablated

Diclofenac
I had open heart surgery last year twice to repair a Ascending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm. I'm on Dispersible Aspirin, Bisoprolol, Artovastatin, Losartan and Omneprazole. Now I've had lower back problems on and off for years and Diclofenac always solved it in a couple of days. I've put it out again and

B12 Oral/Sublingual Spray - is it any good?
I was originally having B12 injections every 12 weeks. I was feeling really tired after around 7 weeks after the injections, so I was advised to go every 6 weeks, which has continued for sometime now and I feel fine. Two weeks ago one of the GPs at the practice phoned me and stated that they were making
