Fragmin and warfarin pt 2

Thank you one and all for all your kind messages it means a lot to me, and have felt very much supported.

I’m still in hosp, awaiting various test results, bloods ct scan etc I had a change of consultant who is so much better and certainly seems to understand things better.

She wasn’t going to do a D-Dimer blood test as she quite rightly says, no point the results for people with APS aren’t reliable enough.

Had a ct scan as it looks like I’ve had a small stroke so will wait for the results to confirm, apparently was out of this world for a good half hour, think I was in Bermuda😁

Consultant says to me yesterday that my INR was raised, then she stated it was 7.8 now that’s what I call impressive. So, will have to get that sorted before I go home.

On the positive side with the clocks altering I can laze around for the day!

Many thanks once again

J

Glad your turning the corner and getting nearer to seeing your kitties.

The difference it makes with a good doctor!!

It means so much to give/receive support from each other, what one hasn't experienced another has, which makes us all so much more knowledgeable.

Your sense of humour empresses and aspires us all - keep making improvements and get well soon xx

So pleased that you now have a better consultant with more knowledge, it will make all the difference to you and also your GP when you are discharged, Well done on keeping upbeat, we know it is not easy. MaryF

Thank you Mary I think the consultant is the best I’ve seen in this hospital, particularly as she’s general medicine.

She is going to copy everything to St Thomas which is a big help.

I try to have a positive approach to most things and has to be said have a weird sense of humour.

These are difficult times, my family live a long way away and haven’t seen them for ages, thank goodness for face time, zoom, WhatsApp etc.

Love and hugs

J
