Spots that are turning nasty! Dapsone
My haematologist has put me one
Dapsone
which is bringing me out in nasty sores, they take a long time to clear. Apparently this drug helps with the very bad cough that I have all the time along with heavy mucus. Has anyone out there had a problem with
Dapsone
and what would replace that?

Armpit sores
I have Behcets and I am currently taking azathioprine,
dapsone
, colchicine, and prednisone. But recently I have been getting these sores under my arm pit. They first develop as a pimple and it gets pus in it. I pop them and clean them out with hydrogen peroxide and then put neosporan on them.

Dizzy with Vasculitis
I am curious to know if the
dapsone
or colchicine are causing the imbalance. Has anyone experienced this. I would be very grateful to have any information.

ITP Since Childhood
On Revolade 50mg for 21 days and
Dapsone

Is hydroxychloroquine working?
Initially he said hydroxy or
dapsone
were possible treatment options and I'm now wondering whether I should switch to
dapsone
. Has anyone had a similar experience with hydroxy, that took a long time to start seeing results? Or has anyone taken
dapsone
successfully for uv?

More than fed up.
Rant over but still very annoyed and fed up and the next quack that tries to push
Dapsone
on to me, god help them. I do not have a bacterial infection or an allergy to meds except the Tetanus injection.

New here and confused
Stopped taking the fexofenadine as it was not an allergy as they first thought and refused to take
Dapsone
as I don't have a bacterial infection either. The only other medication I take is for asthma and COPD.

So at the moment the only meds I'm taking are for my asthma and C.O.P.D because I'm refusing
Dapsone
. Are they on commission with the makers of
Dapsone
?

I give up.
I saw a GP today, not my normal one to talk about
Dapsone
and resent diagnosis of U.V and the effects of
Dapsone
and COPD. Seems as thought the skin clinic have told me I have U.V but on my notes said Urticaria.

Fed up
Skin Dr wants me to take
Dapsone
so I ask if it was okay as I have Asthma and COPD plus a heart condition. She just brushed it aside and said it was fine, not according to what I've just read. Plus she just brushed away all the other health problems I'm having.

Does nicotinamide/niacinamide inhibit the human Sirt1 gene and cause cell aging?
“The
Dapsone
and PZA protocols were the most effective for resistant Lyme and autoimmune symptoms, with PZA being the most efficacious for the dermatological manifestations of Bechet’s and arthritic/granulomatous changes.”
