Hi, my name is Susan and I was finally diagnosed with HS last year after going to see my dermatologist for a mole check! I had been having super bad out breaks in my growin area and under my arms for years! I first thought that they were from ingrown hairs so I had told my husband I was going to try getting waxed to see if that helped!
So lucky for me, before I tried the waxing, my dermatologist and I were talking and I decided to show her my sores, she right away told me it was HS! I had never heard of that before! She immediately put me on 3 months of doxycycline, which totally tore my stomach up! I suffered thru our yearly beach trip not enjoying any of it!
