Pain Killers - Fibromyalgia
Good Morning, I am newly diagnosed after suffering with widespread pain and brainfrog since 1997. I have been given Duloxetine to take, started at 60mg, then 90mg then given 90mg twice a day although i am only taking the 90mg once a day. My question is how do I get my GP to assist me with pain medication

Neuropathic Foot Pain
Hello Warriors: I've just finished my second pluvicto injection and everything seems to be going fine. PSA is going down and I do have mild bouts of diarrhea but that is totally manageable. My 20 year battle with this disease continues. I will never give up . I continue to have neuropathic foot

Maintaining iron levels after infusion
Hi folks, I had an iron IV infusion six months ago in the hopes that it would help my RLS. It didn't seem to (or at least, seemed to only briefly). My current iron status is: Iron - 31.7umol/L (5.8 - 34.5 R) TIBC - 48.8umol/L (45 - 81 R) UIBC - 17.1umol/L (22.3 - 61.7 R) Transferrin saturation - 65%

No ill health retirement given!
hi, I am a teacher by profession but had to retire from teaching 3 years ago due to my fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis and hyper mobility symptoms. There are 2 levels of ill health retirement you can apply for as a teacher. One is that you can no longer teach and two is that you can no longer work at all

Paroxetine reduction
Hi, I am asking if any of you have had experience of reducing in part their Paroxetine dosage? I am hopeful to reduce my Paroxetine to a lesser dosage over time with the involvement of a psychiatrist . Do you have any information to share that would be helpful for me? With thanks.

Blood pressure hike - Duloxetine?
Hi - after the standard chequered experimentation with meds I have settled into a good place with just 30mg of Duloxetine. For the first time in my life I have higher blood pressure - I have Ehlers Danos Syndrome and it’s always been spectacularly low until now. does anyone else have this?

medication intolerance
Hi is there anyone else on here who struggles to tolerate any medication for fibromyalgia because of side effects? I put on a huge amount of weight with amitriptyline, sweated buckets with duloxetine and had much worse fatigue with pregablin. I am currently going through a horrible tramadol withdrawal

Hi, I started feeling very unwell in June 2022. I was regularly at the gym running 10k and working out with weight 5 or 6 times a week. I started to feel unwell after the gym but just ignored it. Severe anxiety med and glaucoma
I’ve just been diagnosed with glaucoma. I have severe chronic anxiety that is resistant to all the regular SRi SNRI and triptylines apart from 20 mg duloxetine. I can’t take a higher dose because I have unbearable side effects and I have no found out Duloxetine is on the list of tablets not to take with

How much do I up my pred?
Hi, everyone! Please forgive me if this request is long winded, but I'm lookingfor solid advice. I am absolutely and utterly exhausted. I was diagnosed originally as having GCA but have been told its fibromyalgia instead, as I have been in chronic pain all over, even whilst taking 60mg of pred daily
