I am not sure if I have pernicious or if I am just B12 deficient due to gas and air but I inject B12 and find it very helpful.
However I have polycycstic overys and although \I have avoided it in the past think I might need to start taking metformin due to my weight issues which are serious. Will this matter if I am injecting anyway?

Hi. Hoping all are remaining as well as can be. I have idiopathic cardiomyopathy and a very irregular heart rhythm. Both lower ventricles are very weak. It is thought that this may have been virus or toxin related from many years ago and not discovered until it became noticeably symptomatic and diagnosed

Statin vs PSA
I started taking Statin a few days ago, because Cholestrol (LDL+HDL) soared to 285 after I took bicalutamide. All of sudden, it appears that my PSA went down from 0.20 to .019 within 5 days of taking Atorvastatin. Is that a possible scenario? Statin was prescribed by my primary care doctor and

Metformin
Hello, I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS, endometriosis and adenomyosis. Part of my treatment has been to start taking Metformin. Has anyone experienced extreme nausea and sweating whilst on Metformin? I'm sure my body will settle down but any tips or advice would be welcome. Thank you in

Diabolical nails
SO fed up, my nails are in a terrible state, flaking and breaking. I’ve tried a nail varnish, nail oil nothing made any difference. I’ve even had biotin etc. I’m on Flecainide, Bisoprolol, Empagliflozin and Rivoxaban and convinced one or more are the culprits. any ideas and suggestions welcome as

? Experience w/ taking Hydroxychloroquine & ADT simultaneously? If so, issues w/ your heart or other side effects? Clinical Trial or Nubeqa?
I've been considering doing a clinical trial or just starting on Nubeqa. The trial includes a pretty high dosage of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), along with Metformin and Sirolimus. I'm trying to figure out if the trial/HCQ has a significant chance of causing heart disruptions/issues. I am cautious because

on 3.5mgs of Prednisolone & having a colonoscopy with sedation on Saturday. Should I increase my dose of pred beforehand?
Hi all, looking for advice from you lovely knowledgeable people. I’ve tapered down from 10mg in June last year to 3.5mg 2 weeks ago with no problems, (apart from pains in my legs during the night, but I think that might be something else). I often wonder if the PMR might actually be in remission because

Frustration with medication
Just started here, on other forums. I've been trying hard to manage my health problems, just seem to hit road blocks. I'm a sweet tooth, recently gave up lollies and chocolate, since Feb, but when gp did the long range sugar test, it was worse than before. So another tablet added, I was on Metformin

Question for diabetics or anyone who knows the answer
I met with my new endocrinologist yesterday for the 1st time. She told me that the fructosamine test is the better test, over A1C, to check for blood sugars IF you also have CKD. Which I do. Has anyone heard of this test or have taken it? I don't remember seeing anything about it before. During
