hrt and levothyroxine
hi I’ve just been given hrt and in the panic of wondering what new hell awaits me, I haven’t thought how does the patch work with my levothyroxine cos even if I apply the first patch four hours after my levothyroxine it will still be there the next day ? Help or am I over thinking it

I’ve just received my vitamin results. My ferritin is 52, serum vitamin b12 level 462 ng/l, serum folate level 16.5 ng/l (range 3-20), vitamin D 90. A year ago my ferritin was 48, vitamin b12 331 and folate 12.3. I’m disappointed my ferritin has only gone up by 4. I tried cutting tea out near meal

The above company after failing to supply me any T3 other than Teva said they would notify my surgery and get an emergency supply ordered. Why they think my surgery should sort out their failings I don’t know, I called in to my surgery earlier and was told that they have heard nothing from them, perfect

Hypo and Menopausal
Good morning you lovely people does anyone have any information surrounding thyroid meds and HRT? Since taking HRT I feel more hypo and my main symptom is a lot of hair loss. GP is trying to help but doesn’t really understand and still only goes by TSH. Do the hormones interfere with each other? I make

My RLS has settled for the time being. Thank you for the information and support!
For the past six months, I've been RLS free! I'm so happy about this and it has made such a difference to my sleep and wellbeing. I have the wonderful, supportive people on here to thank, and especially SueJohnson. Because I received such a good amount of information last year, I was able to check

One negative, one positive pregnancy test
Hi everyone. It's my first IVF cycle, and I managed to wait until the day advised by my clinic (today) to do a pregnancy test. I did have pains around implantation, have had some brown discharge after, as well as feeling nauseous and loss of appetite (though appreciate this could be stress). However,

Low Ferritin
Have tested low (below ref range) twice on Evenity, has anyone else had their ferritin tested whilst on a bone drug and seen low ferritin? I have read calcium can stop the absorbtion of iron which may be the reason, not sure. Thanks

Hello everyone. Just asking for input from you clever people! I had a Dexa scan in Oct 2022 (73 at the time). Eventually got letter back from Endo with that result along with a host of other bloods. Nothing was said by Endo or GP about the Dexa scan result: -1.3 left neck of femur -1.9 lumbar spine

Adrenal/Cortisol issues- help please
So it's recently been bought to my attention that my struggles to tolerate any t4 t3 medication could be down to low cortisol or adrenal issues, is this common? I'm starting to question if adrenal issues are actually my main problem? I was diagnosed 'subclinical hypo' last year and have been on varying

Sensitive / Surprise Natural Pregnancy - Anxiety triggered
Hi all, A long post so I hope you can stay with me! It has been a while since I’ve written my own post on here but I’m always following others journeys and comment when I feel I can offer some support from afar. A little background; I’ve experienced two miscarriages and went through 2 IVF cycles

Underactive thyroid and Peri menopause
Hi, I have started perimenopause and having symptons e.g heat palpatations (tests done but no other medical issues found) mood swings, aches and pains etc… and I am trying to find solutions to help. Have started taking viticulture supplements but it seems really confusing as to which ones are safe

Heart palpitations with levothyroxine
Hi, I have had annunderacrive thyroid for 13 years now. The past 3 years I've really struggled with heart palpitations (all heart checks done and no condition found) I've now come to realise it coincides with taking my thyroxine tablets, because I stopped fully dor 8 weeks and the heart palpitations
