Accuracy doubtful due to fusion hardware?
L5/S1 hardware new since last dexa scan. The tech did ask for an opinion from a co-worker as she felt the imaging was being distorted due to the hardware, but was told it would not impact the readings. take hrt, d3/k2 and am active! Any thoughts?

Blue Horizon Thyroid Genetic Test results
Afternoon, My Blue Horizon Thyroid Genetic Panel results have arrived after a long wait and I’d appreciate some help understanding them. I undertook the test to check my DIO1 and DIO2 status, both of which appear ‘normal’ (no inherited defects). However, three variants are flagged up in either red

Meningioma advice
Hi all, I started getting constant headaches about three years ago. After being ignored by my doctors, I paid for a private neurologist, and he did an MRI, told me nothing was found and suggested it was menopause. I've had three years of headaches, dizziness, vision issues and utter fatigue and losing

Blood Test Results
Hi I have trouble getting a GP appointment - in that I never get one. Test results are relayed via the receptionist so never any opportunity to ask questions. This is the latest test and as a result I've been told to vary my dose (normally 125mcg) taking 100mcg alternate days, 125mcg on the others.

FSH test results (FSH is as important as AMH?)
AMH is largely talked about on this forum but FSH is less so. I am super worried about my FSH lately. In a recent test (October) my FSH came back high so that caused the clinic to demand updated day 2-3 FSH tests. I had to do that on day 1 (as day 2 would be Sunday and Monday I was busy). I decided

Hypothyroid - Vit & iron levels
Hello, As recommended by this brilliant group, I have had my vitamin and iron levels tested through medichecks. My results have come back all in range, thankfully, but I know that sometimes ‘normal’ or ‘in range’ isn’t optimum. Would someone be able to look at these please and let me know any thoughts

Hi, I have had some tests recently which included thyroid levels and my free T3 levels are 3.1 which appears to me, to be right on the borderline of normal. The free T4 and the TSH are fine by the look of them. Im just wondering if that T3 level is a bit low. I dont have any symptoms I would describe

HRT and fatigue
I'm quite interested to see if this resonates with anyone else .Was diagnosed with RA 2018, and been on methotrexate and Hydroxychloroquine ever since. Once the dose settled it's controlled the RA swelling. But the fatigue has been awful and constant. I assumed a result of the RA and side effects of

Dr declining Levo increase
I was diagnosed with autoimmune hypothyroidism last August. Currently on 75mcg levothyroxine. Symptoms are better but not gone as much as I’d hoped so requested an increase via letter as couldn’t get appt. They then phoned me for a telephone appt but said as numbers are in range they won’t agree to

Are these results okay?
Hi,I have been having overwhelming fatigue resulting in me needing to sleep during the day most days, which is most unlike me. I have also been having heavy periods every 3 weeks, sometimes even less, last cycle was 19 days. Terrible brain fog and inability to concentrate. GP said it could be thyroid

sertraline
Hi all, I’m been on Hrt about 18 months now but my anxiety is still extremely high, as it’s relentles. I’ve tried anti depressants flouxetine and Mirtazipine that haven’t really helped. I’m thinking of trying sertraline next, and was wondering if it has helped anyone with menapausal anxiety please.

response regarding my endocrinologist complaint
Hi, I am sharing the letter I received from the hospital ( it’s taken them well over 6 months). I was so ‘cheesed off’ with the reply that it’s taken me 3 days to read it again and then I spilt coffee on it 🥴. I don’t know why I thought I’d get anything better, but the response is actually farcicle

Could heart pain be related to peri menopause?
Hi everyone. I’ve just recently stopped taking HRT patches as I felt nearly suicidal for two weeks every month. I have been having pains like a stitch in my heart on and off for weeks. Was wondering if any of you have ever experienced anything like this and if it was related to peri menopause

Got GP appointment but what to say to get him to test anything more than TSH
Hi 3 months ago I wrote a post about my daughters results since 2018 & her vitamin levels which are dire. It has taken her this long to manage to get a telephone appointment with a GP next Wednesday. My question is what does she say to convince them to test more than just her TSH. I went through
