Hi All,
After the unsuccessful stimulation I requested my medical records with the clinic and found out that they've taken only the AMH ,no other hormone checks. Is this normal?
Thank you

we have only had our private clinic check AMH whereas when I was going through an NHS hospital clinic a couple of years ago, they checked all sorts during different stages of my cycle. So it can vary between clinics xx
Same experience, my private fertility clinic only checks AMH and thyroid hormones. I only had blood tests to check my estrogen and progesterone levels towards the end of my stims phase (to investigate why I was bleeding and losing all my uterine lining). If you were NHS patient, they would check lots of things but I dont qualify for IVF under NHS.
hi, I think it’s variable. Mine checked AMH, thyroid and vitamin D.
GP did progesterone, oestrogen, LH and FSH right at the beginning of asking for referral for treatment but the clinic have never repeated those.
Did your clinic measure your AFC when they first scanned? My first consultant told me that they expect a similar number of eggs at retrieval based on AFC. Not that accurate for me but that’s what she said,
Good luck with everything moving forward x
