Solu cortef 100ml. I'm fully diagnosed with the disease and supply my own b12 Methylcobalamin injections, cortef h.c and foricot. I'm going to see a new gp next week to register my private test results and Addisons so they have that info for an emergency.

Over the past 2 years I have slow tapered off the Gabapentin, Zoplicone, Seroquel and Cortef and now have this one last poison 2 taper from.

Does anyone else have difficulty getting the lid off hylo-forte eye drops? I cant seem to be able to grip it properly!!

Recently I took a 5mg dose of Cortef in the morning. I reacted badly, and it definitely aggravated a lot of my adrenal fatigue symptoms. I noticed the effect almost immediately. I upped the dose to 10mg with no success.

I do have Hashimoto's and have been self medicating with Cortef for about the last year for what I felt was severe adrenal fatigue but am now worried I may have Addisons. Many thanks for any feedback .

Well what a ridiculous letter I received from my GP practice yesterday. One of my regular prescriptions - Hylo-Forte 2% eye drops Preservative Free ( prescribed by the top Ophthalmologist at my local hospital regarding the importance of protecting both my corneas - for life) has now been substituted

At present I am taking 3 and a half grains of Armour plus 15mcg T3 and 35 mg Cortef. I have tried to work my way up to 4 grains but always have problems near the 6 week mark. I therefore had a blood test done for my cortisol at 9am in the morning and didn't take my usual 10mg Cortef dose.

I've been on Cortef since the surgery, on a taper for 5 months. I've been trying to learn about thyroid since I was dx'd in September w/Hashimotos.

There are supplements containing anything from 50 to 500 mg of ACE per capsule. I found one by Essential Therepeutics simply called Adrenal Cortex which provides 500 mg of bovine ACE per capsule, whereas 250 mg per capsule seems most common. Does anyone have any idea how much ACE to take? I realise
