The other side of surgery and covid!
hi. Had a mastectomy 2 weeks ago today and tested positive for Covid 12 days ago! Covid tests negative but symptoms persist! Surgery went ok - fatigue the key issue. Time should sort that out 🤞 Restless legs mostly ok - taking half a Pramipexole tablet each day! I got half way through weaning myself

Hi All This is my sixth jab the previous two Pfzier jabs apart from a tender arm the only other thing I get is a swelling under my arm. This usually last for approx two weeks. My last jab I had resulted in my WBC going up from 176k to 191k as it was near my 9 month appt at the Hospital and they

Advice needed before Covid booster on Saturday 8 October
I am due another booster jab on Saturday. I was fine on previous Covid jabs but when I actually got Covid in April it threw me abut good and proper (not the Covid itself). I had just reduced to 4mg when the bug struck. Afterwards couldn't walk due to stiff legs and had to go back to 10mg to level out

Covid Vaccine trigger flares?
Hi there, I'm 53 and was 52 when I was diagnosed with PMR. It seemed to come on after my 2nd Vaccine but it took a while for my Dr diagnose me. I got the 3rd vaccine in January just before I started taking prednisone, 15 mg. I am now at 6 mg and doing well. My husband is concerned if I get a 4th

Anything else?
Hello – I wanted to follow up with a question I have regarding my care. What else should I be doing or consider at this point? I had a prostatectomy in September 2021 after I ran a self ordered blood test in April 2021 and had a psa of 15.2. Asymptomatic and no signs or family history. RP pathology

Getting ready for FET and I've tested positive for Covid
Morning ladies I'm so upset, I've been feeling unwell over the weekend and this morning tested positive for Covid. I've had two intralipids and am on 10mg predisolone (amongst a million other things), so I guess I was going to be more susceptible to it. I'm due to transfer next week and my lining

Covid isolation exit guidance needed. I have been sick 6 days and on Paxlovid for 4 going on 5
I have W&W U-CLL, and was sick, tested positive for Covid and will soon swallow my last (10th) dose of Paxlovid. It tastes nasty but I do feel much better. I'm visiting family in Paris France, isolating in a nearby studio apartment, and supposed to go home in one week. I felt sick 6 days ago and

Anti Virals
My situation which may be useful to anyone else …. I returned from a holiday to Menorca on Monday, first holiday in 3 years, and tested positive for Covid on Thursday. I called 111 to request anti virals. After three people calling me to get more information I was told yesterday that I do not qualify

Post covid heart pain
Just a quick question but has anyone else had heart pain after a bout of covid? I’ve been clear for 2 years after the last stents with no problems at all. I’m 10 days negative and had quite acute pain last night. The magic spray worked quickly but it’s a kick in the teeth if I’m starting over again ☹️

angina and the covid booster
I am a little worried and not even sure to have the vaccine as last time I was really poorly from vaccine gave me lots of angina pain for at least three weeks. I had covid in August so should have some antibodies for now maybe. Anyone else had this any advice would be welcome.

Dad has brain cancer, heart issues, and now PSA has increased. Concerned about medication complications..
Hello friends! It's been a long time since I've posted. It's hard to keep up with my dad's health on my end.. we've had so many close calls that his prostate cancer has felt like a bump on the head compared to all the rest of his concerns! So, to bring everyone up to speed as quickly as I can, dad
