Hello again, “ A little tentative wave 👋”.

Covid without Rituximab - Any Similar Experiences
We’ll here’s a strange one! I was at the Hospital today having my 3 monthly bloods in prep for my Rituximab in November. Sat in the waiting area was a bloke who at the same times as me was starting his treatment of Rituximab, so general hit chat “how you getting on mate” that kind of thing and it just

To have the Autumn Covid booster or not?
HI all, firstly following 2 of 3 vaccinations/boosters I had quite bad side effects for 5 to 6 weeks. My ataxia symptoms were effected as well and really took a dive but eventually found myself back to where I was prior to the jabs. I have autoimmune gluten ataxia so obviously my immune system is

Evusheld and Paxlovid Issue
I asked my oncologist (in Canada) for a prescription for Evusheld, but was told that if I got infected with Covid or one of its variants, then Paxlovid would not be an option. He recommended that Paxlovid would be a much better and more effective treatment option. In other words, the oncologist ruled

Struggling with mental health due to Covid worries.
Help! I’m Really struggling with getting my mind back to normal life. Because I have lupus and am largely ill all the time, I worry hugely about getting Covid, despite having had 5 vaccines and knowing I’d be given an antiviral if I caught it. I wash my hands and gel them all the time and am worried

Covid 19 before and after Frozen Embryo Transfer
Hello everyone, If all goes to plan, I should be having my FET in mid-December, with my 2 wk wait (TWW) concluding between Xmas and NYE. I am telling my family that I can't guarantee that they will see me during the few weeks before the FET or during the TWW, because I'll be shielding. My flatmate

Advice please re flare, following Covid infection.
I had been tapering successfully and was down to 2.5mg when I tested positive for Covid (3rd October). I have had a bit of a bumpy ride up and down at lower doses, but was feeling OK prior to being quite poorly with Covid. I was taken to hospital with chest pain and breathing difficulties on day 2,

Post Covid numbness
hi Everyone I’m new to this community, though I’ve had Asthma since 2010. My question though is related COVId but I’m not sure which community to post to so please bear with me. I tested Covid negative in early July. But it triggered Asthma and it took 3weeks to get it back in control. but

Clueless
Does anyone feel up to sharing some basic information about thyroid problems with me. I'm dealing with severe mental health issues that keep me pretty isolated. In the past 10 years I've only seen a doctor twice and only because I was giving birth. So at 40 I don't really have a clue what's going on

Covid, the latest booster and Evusheld...
On September 27th,2022, I had the Evusheld injections...I was really excited about having antibodies and some sort of protection from covid. My husband and I left for a European vacation on October 10th, still following the same protocols we've been following since the beginning of the pandemic.

COVID positive
I tested positive for COVID yesterday on a home test kit. I feel a little achy and weak, have cold symptoms, but no fever. I’m currently taking 7.5 mg prednisone/ day. Should I increase for a few days? Coincidentally, I had similar COVID (PCR test confirmed) last January. I was on 7 mg prednisone

Covid Apixaban and Awful Nosebleed
I am 7 days post Covid and have felt well as just like nasty cold for the last 3 days although still positive. However after a sleepless night I was just lying in bed when started a nosebleed for no reason as nose stopped running days ago. I then noticed that I kept swallowing stuff so sat up in case

Covid booster
Just to reassure people - I had heard lots of horror stories about the latest Covid booster so was in 2 minds about whether to get it. In the end I went along to my appointment, had a chat with the nurse and, feeling reassured, went ahead. I am happy to report that, apart from a sore arm I'm not
