I’m new to this community, though I’ve had Asthma since 2010.
My question though is related COVId but I’m not sure which community to post to so please bear with me.
I tested Covid negative in early July. But it triggered Asthma and it took 3weeks to get it back in control.
but it has been almost 3months and I still feel a bit of tightness when I walk . But for almost 6-8 weeks now my legs are in pain to the extent that I wake up in the middle of the night in pain. Along with the pain I also experience continuous tingling (pins and needle) in both legs
I have had my blood tests done a month ago with everything in the normal range. At the time the GP had said it could take a few more weeks. Now I can’t seem to get a GP appointment. But was wondering anyone else has had similar issues and if so how have they managed
thank you very much in advance. Apologies again for the long message

I had Covid back in April. I had excruciating leg pain from May-end of August. It has mostly gone way but not entirely. I also had tests done but everything was fine on the results. My theory is that Covid affects blood vessels and nerves in the long run. Also - this will sound weird but if you’ve been using your AC, I think the high AC was also contributing to my leg pain. Hopefully your leg pain will gradually get better as mine has (still not completely gone but a lot better). I will send a positive prayer your way for healing 🙏
Magnesium cream or lotion may help. It's often used for cramps, restless legs and fibromyalgia. There's quite a range on the market but I would choose something with the fewest ingredients. You can also try magnesium glycinate or malate supplements, both are good for inflammation and pain (glycinate doesn't have laxative quality which makes it popular).
thank you! One more thing for me to try. One of my friend’s suggested compression socks and I have just started to try them if that doesn’t work I will try magnesium cream.
Penelope321 how did this progress for you? Are you fine now? i have exactly the same after catching covid 12 weeks ago. I have allt of other severe symtoms including lungs/asthma-like but definitely the same leg pain and numbness/tingling.
Sorry, I just saw your msg now. The leg pain went away completely at some point. I still notice that when that leg is under hot water or cold water in the shower, a certain patch of skin will turn red along a delineated area and that redness lasts for maybe 20 minutes after getting out of the shower (not painful). That leg seems to have less sensation than my other leg. Have you gotten better?
