I have just been told that I have Angina and following a CT Scan that my small artery is 75-90 percentile for blockage. My father had heart disease and went through the whole process of medication, angioplasty and bypass over a period of 20 years and had problems all the way through until the bypass.

Should I have more Chemo now?
My urologist confirmed that while the PCa nodes in my bladder have shrunk, they are still obstructing my ureter. Therefore, instead of removing my stent, he replaced it. So, I finished 6 Docetaxel sessions 4 weeks ago and as I'm responding to the Chemo, Eligard and Casodex, I'm considering 4 more chemo

Sleeping 12 weeks after CABG x 4
For the last four nights I have really struggled to get to sleep and felt unwell during the day. My husband says I do sleep for much of the night but I can't get comfortable when going to bed. I feel itchy all over, my nightwear rides up and I rearrange my pillows. I feel cold and shivery and most distressing

Is Swelling at top of sternum 3 months after CABG x 3 normal?
My fiancé had his CABG x 3 just over 3 months ago and the “lump” at the top of his sternum incision is still as prominent as it was immediately after surgery, he’s also got irritation around this area (slight redness and dry skin.) Does this sound normal as we thought the swelling would go down quicker

Look After Yourself. Personal View
I think what is going on is a Logistics Nightmare , and a Inter Generational Failure It is obvious that what we all assumed to be the computer age is not exactly what it is cracked up to be !! Look how often letters don't come from the NHS when they are supposed to, Admin Error, we are told. When you

.? Endocarditis
9 months ago I had a new aortic valve and a single cabg where the mammary artery was used. Recovery was a bit eventful, back with my cardiologist now, who did a telephone conversation with me about 2 weeks ago. One concern I have, I’m female by the way, the left breast towards the inside I get like toothache

Meds problem update
Hi all, I thought I'd offer an update to my earlier post. All advice has been appreciated. To recap, 2 weeks after a stent insertion I stopped my beta blocker, ace inhibitor and statin due to increasing and crippling nerve pain. I remained on aspirin and clopidogrel. At first I was advised not to do

Meds problems after heart attack
Hi all, I'm new here so bear with me. I had a heart attack 4 weeks ago and had a stent fitted. Prior to this I wasn't on any meds, but was immediately placed on 6 different meds. I have a history of reacting badly to most meds. Typical symptoms are nerve pain in hands and feet, swollen abdomen, sensation
