Failed stent op
Hi Beachcomber
I am sorry to hear you are in pain.
Have you been able to discuss this with your GP, Cardiologist or Cardiac Rehab team?
No,,just told to keep taking the tablets.,,,I will read the instructions for tablets and maybe stop taking certain ones.
Perhaps ring the BHF helpline and talk to one of the Cardiac nurses?

I live with a type of angina that can only be treated by medication.
It is really important not to stop taking any of your tablets without discussing this with a doctor first .
I would get a second opinion absolutely but with that being said the new research is talking about medication vs stenting so i would check it out. I don't care how important your doctor or cardiologist think they are they have no right to leave you hanging and worried. Write all your questions down and keep tabs on the answers plus know the medications you are on.
I really feel for you. Although not connected to my heart, I have exactly the same pains and numbness/pins and needles and have had this since 2006 when I made the mistake of going to a pain management clinic prior to spine surgery.
The cervical epidural given at this clinic went horribly wrong with all manner of nerve damage (and 3 days of not being able to walk!!!).
Follow Milkfairy's advice. I hope you get sorted out soon xxxx
