Following a heart attack last week I had a stent fitted, through my right arm, how long can I expect to have a dead arm for as it’s affecting my sleep. Any advice will be gratefully received. Thank you

I had a stent fitted last November through my right wrist and apart from some mild burning sensation from the fluid injected before the stent insertion, I have had no adverse effect in my right arm. So perhaps you need to take this up with the hospital.

Hope all goes well with your recovery

Apart from extremely bad bruising, I had no ill effects from having two stents fitted. You really need to seek medical advice. Do you just lack feeling in the arm or is it also cold? If it's cold, go to hospital

No it’s not cold, like a dead arm from my shoulder to my hand, it’s a very dull ache
