Second time in hospital

Hi everyone

I have just been discharged from hospital as the doctors have confirmed my blood test was clear, ECG was clear XRay was clear yet following having a stent fitted 6 weeks ago I am still getting chest pain

Doctors said to keep excercising and Diet and to take GTS spray

Has anyone else had this and how do they cope with the discomfort when they had chest pain

Did they also suggest you follow a healthy diet? Cutting down on fats and removing fast food,salt and cakes, biscuits etc. The removal of salt worked so well I got a phone call 6wks in and told to add it back as my salt levels had got too low!

Have you ever learnt breathing exercises? I have to use the ones I learnt for childbirth (where they were useless!!) when I wake up with sharp burning pains where my pacemaker is (RH side) and equally painful feelings in my left chest. I presume the pacemaker is doing its stuff and something was going on.

Exercise might be the last thing you feel like doing but if you could manage some walking this might help.

Otherwise your GP may be able to advise better than us.

The fact I still am getting chest discomfort everyday just gets me really anxious.

Sometimes I go quite a few hours without it but then I will have a bad few hours

I will contact my GP as you say

Do other people who have Angina have similar problems? And how do you cope
