PET scan microvascular disease
Just seen a private cardiologist regarding ongoing chest pain following NSTEMI 6 months ago. Successful stent and no other main artery blockages. Now considering microvascular angina. Anyone know anything about PET scans for that? Sounds expensive and wondering if NHS do this?

I was diagnosed with ET close to 3 years ago, January. Put on Hydroxyurea, 500mg 3x a week and all seemed good with platelets.I just turned 69 in October, am a woman and had a heart attack in September from a blocked artery. A stent was put in and I am on drugs to help lower blood pressure, Baby aspirin

Ramipril Or Reflux - Unsure What Is Causing My Cough
Hi I had a heart attack followed by an angioplasty last month, and I am on the meds listed at the end of this message. In general terms I feel really good since the stent was fitted, and five weeks in I’m walking as much as I used to, but am still taking it easy in terms of strenuous activity. Have

huge anxiety a week after stent
I’m young-ish… 46 and had a heart attack 13 days ago and had a stent put in 10 days ago. recovery has been going pretty good with yesterday being a great day where it was the best I’d felt since the heart attack. today though… not so much. Constant underlying anxiety, which for me is awful because

Left arm aching after stent
I'm 52, and had a stent just over 2 weeks ago after an NSTEMI heart attack (stent inserted through the arm). Been having heart palpitations and aching in my left arm on and off since then. Arm ache goes in waves throughout the day, fine for a few hours, then comes on for a few minutes, then goes away

Second Stent
So in 2019 I had a stent after HA. Now four years later getting tightness cross chest, can still walk up 3 steps of stairs ok. Once I stop out walking it settles down again. I’m also asthmatic. My question is has any had a second stent that resolved this. I take glycerin spray once a month. thanks

Ureteral cytosis
Started Jevtana in August hoping for more moderate side effects and efficacy than I'd had with three prior rounds of Docetaxel. First Jevtana round was without carboplatin. Second Jevtana round had carboplatin included. Hematuria got a bit more severe and then two weeks into the three-week cycle, I

Heart attack on 2nd Sept.
Hi everyone, new to all this. I'm 52, reasonably fit & I thought healthy. Gym user & regularly walk. I had a heart attack at the gym on Sept 2nd, blue lighted straight to cardio and stent fitted by lunchtime. I'm trying to follow the rehab rules but probably overdid it a couple of weeks ago resulting

How many days can I miss my Ticagrelor, 2 months after HA & stent?
My cardiologist has changed my prescription from ticagrelor to something else (I think he said clopidogrel). Unfortunately between delays his end & now delays at the GP surgery the pharmacist still hasn't had the prescription. I've got one day left of my ticagrelor and I've left messages with the GP

Is My Resting Heart Rate Too Low?
Hi First time poster here. I am 62 had an angioplasty following a heart attack last month, with a single stent being fitted. I was reasonably fit through walking beforehand, and have been enjoying daily walks since the procedure, gradually building up my range on the flat, so I am very pleased at what

What really happened?
Apologies in advance for this ramble on something which is probably not a very comfortable topic on this forum but it's something I have been wondering about for some time and I just thought I'd ask you guys for any thoughts you may have. In August 2022 I had an angiogram which didn't go well and resulted

Skin problems.
I have had very itchy rash for about 12 months and wondered whether this is caused by any of the heart medications I am taking following bypass surgery two years ago. The rash seems to be getting worse and more widespread, covering large areas of my back, shoulders and chest. I am currently taking Bisoprolol

Weakness after radiation
Hello! I am here for Dad. He just completed twenty rounds of radiation.. but not without complications. He had several bouts of extreme afib, heart attack, and low platelets. Since having another stent, new AFib meds, and two units of blood he has completed radiation but it's still so very weak. He's
