Tumor Lysis Syndrome
As a result of developing tumor lysis syndrome 2021 while in the hospital (receiving Ven,) my kidneys were affected. This week I will have a kidney stent removed and possibly replaced. Has anyone had a similar experience? The kidney stents will be done in a hospital.

I’ve been following these forums for a couple years now- but this is my first time posting here….. ok so here it goes… long story short I’m a 33 year old female. In May of 2021 I was diagnosed with DVTS from the tips of my toes, all the way up both legs, both sides of my pelvis and up my IVC. Needless

Flue jab ?
In February I had a cardiac arrest but I am now recovering well after a stent was fitted and a month in hospital after getting pneumonia. My question is has anyone else after having an heart attack got any experiences of having their annual flu jab. I'm wondering am I safe to have this in October? What

Concerned
Good morning all, Back in November, I’d had a stent fitted as I’d had a 90% blockage in my LAD. The CT Angiogram done before the Angiohram detected narrowing in multiple arteries. I was 44yrs of age then. Since I’ve made positive lifestyle changes. I’m left wondering though, how is any of us routinely

stopping bisopromol
Hi All, hope you are keeping well. In the last 18 months I’ve paid privately to see the consultant who put the stent inside of me. It started with paying for an echo cardio gram and also a fitness test because I put it down to the meds I was on, but that general feeling of dog****. Fatigued.

Stopping blood thinners after having a stent
Hi everyone, The Doctor has advised my dad to come off his blood thinners which he was put on after having a stent due to a blockage in his artery, he has said to stop them because his stomach is too delicate to handle the blood thinners and it's causing ulcers, my dad's worry is now that he is off them

CABG and Memory loss
Hi, it's six week since my triple bypass. My scar is healing well and I'm slowly recovering from the surgery. Two things concern me, my legs are still painfully swollen and causing discomfort the other is my short term memory is shot, I'd laugh at my forgetfulness but I'm beginning to find it scary.

post cabg tiredness
This year after my surgery l was dragging myself around tired first blaming the high dose metoprolol and that got reduced somewhat but it turned out l was iron deficient. I had 3months of iron pills and it improved slightly. Then l stopped taking them because they gave me diarrhoea and it dropped again

Stent procedure Dec 2022
Been experiencing short breath, ie I need the need to take deep breath quite often, the cardiologist suggested an angiogram as all other tests seems ok. I was explained that if in the process they will see a balockge of over and above certain % a stent will be inserted. In short I end up with one stent

Update progress 😀
It's been 15 months since I had my heart attack and stent treatment. Most of the time I'm doing great but still need a wee rest day . I'm back doing most of my hobbies. All be it at a slower pace. I'm taking on the challenge of jogging. Which I used to do. And hopefully will been doing the 10k run next

cancelled procedure
Hi everyone just to update you all, I had a blood test on Monday which was needed to check everything before my procedure on the 25th . Had a phone call yesterday and was told since December my red blood cells had been going lower over last three blood tests. Because of the blood thinner I would need
