really long periods, heavy bleeding even though on the pill
As the title suggests, I've been having really long periods (see: 1+ months), spotting, really heavy bleeding at times, painful cramps and stabbing pains in my vagina, and fatigue. I'm on the POP pill without break so I shouldn't be having any periods at all but since last October they've been really

Comfortable.....
In July last year I was given the coil and had numerous problems which meant I was put on the pill AS WELL. This sorted out all problems for me and I haven’t had any bleeding for months! But I am worried I’m becoming to comfortable on both of these and question if I should try and come off of the

NHS T4/T3 trial - now what have I gone and done?
So, this old T4/T3 trial business... I’ve gone and banjaxed it once again! So, a quick recap. I got prescribed T3 in Dec but handed a massive cut in T4 at the same time and spent 6 weeks feeling like the mistress of grot. I tested and got an increase in T4. I felt slightly better but my PND was playing

Has anyone experienced painful PVCs or thuds when on the brink of sleep when stressed or just me?
Has anyone experienced when they are in bed say after a long day, after taking in salt, maybe alcohol(stimulants), they are stressed---PVCs? I had two like two big thuds, somewhat painful that shook me in bed and last night and winded me a bit. I breathed and coughed(vagal maneuver) and my heart was

A really useful illustration of the very low relative risk of thrombosis with the AstraZeneca covid vaccine compared to thrombosis risks such as the combined oral contraceptive, thrombosis in the general population and the high risk from covid infection

(New here!) Does endometriosis mean daily pain?
Hi, I am 19 years old and I've been suffering with severe period pain for about 6 years. I've been sick and almost fainted countless times. Went to my GP last year and was given mefenamic acid, which did nothing even when taken with painkillers. Went back to GP and was put on the pill. Still during pill

Missed yesterday’s pill
So I take my
contraception
pill Every day the one without a break, I take it usually around 1pm everyday (I can miss it up to 22 hours), so I forgot to take it yesterday, I had sex this morning and then took yesterday’s pill after, is this going to be any concern?

Polyp, possible endometriosis, fertility worries
Hello, I joined this forum a couple of months ago and have found it a huge comfort to read about other people’s experiences, so thank you for that. This is the first time I’ve posted but I have so much going round in my head I feel like it’s a good place to share my story as I don’t have anyone I can

Is there a limit or risk to having multiple consecutive IUDs?
My second consecutive IUD is due to expire in August and I’m so confused about what to do next. I love having an IUD and it’s definitely the perfect contraceptive option for me. However I am unable to find much online about having IUDs consecutively. Does my body need to have a break? Are there risks

Copper coil expulsion- what do I do now?
They struggled to get it out due to where it was sat which was another horrible experience, they had to give me emergency
contraception
and wouldn’t fit another coil for at least 3 weeks to be sure I wasn’t pregnant.

Cerelle pill stopping periods - do you still get symptoms?
Hello! I'm honestly learning so much more in this community than anything my doctors or gynae has ever told me, which is a mix of emotions being both thankful but also frustrated at the doctor's 😅 I have been on the Cerelle pill since around January/February this year and haven't had a period since

Change of pill ?
Hi all. New here! I had appendix removed 2 years ago - was stuck down to walks etc and found to be endometriosis. 2 years on I’ve recently changed from combined pill to progesterone only and have under right rib pain and upper back pain. Both seem to fit with endometriosis on diaphragm. Just wondered

Am I being fobbed off?
Hi all, I only got diagnosed with endo last year (no laparoscopy - based on family history and symptoms). My gynae has prescribed me Cerelle. I’ve been on it since December, and she said it would stop my periods (though I told her I’d been on it before and it didn’t). She’s told me that if we can use
