Pill/bleeding
Hi everyone. A few nights ago I had sex with my boyfriend and then the next day I started bleeding quite heavily, I assume it was my period so I took my mini pill (it says to take it first day of period) and then my bleeding has now completely stopped. Wondered if this is normal or something I need to

Switching from 100mg Flecainide twice daily, to Pill in the Pocket. Has anyone done this?
A few months ago, my Cardiologist here in Leipzig, suggested I reduce my dose of flecainide, due to a slow HR. I did so, and had no ill effects. My heart rate is now in the low seventies, it was only in the low fifties. Today I saw him again, and he suggested that I try using the Pill in the Pocket

Very happy to hit 2 year mark from last AFIB incident. I was 48 when I had my first episode which terrified me, and the second episode was 9 months later. Both resolved on their own. I started working on lifestyle changes from the first incident. I focused on dropping milk from my diet and keeping

Aristo in my hands!
wooo after months of trying I have 100mcg Aristo for my latest prescription 🎁. Pharmacist said it came in by coincidence recently and she put on the top shelf where no one can reach with ‘reserved’ written on it 👏 I’m in week 5 of my 125mcg trial. Up from 100mcg. Taking Teva but the minor gurgles

just looking for some support, not entirely sure I just want someone to listen and help me :(
hello, I’m just looking for advice on what to do. I had a surgery in September (for endo) where they found scar tissue wrapped around my ovaries and bowel, they then said I’m no longer their problem and took me off the gyno list. Since then my pains just are getting worse. I’m not sure what to do

anyone on birth control pills still getting horrific cramps?
I’m on the pill but still get cramping as bad as when I had natural periods. Anyone else like this? Any recommendations for a pill that helps? I’m due on and having the most intense abdominal and hip cramps right now. I’ve been like this most of the day, I was bent double at my desk at work even with

hello all, spent a night at A&E to have a 12 year old doctor tell me these are nothing to worry about although it went on for several minutes 3 separate times yesterday and knocked me off my feet 🤷🏻♀️ Apparently unless I actually black out twice I can’t be referred on to anyone and when I why this

Contraception methods used with Lupus
Hi all A rather personal question today but if I can't ask it here then I'm not sure where I can. I currently have m=Merina coil fitted that is coming up to its 5 year life. I wondered what other medications etc Lupus patients have been recommended please. Thanks.

Fallen off my little pink cloud
we’ll, after a year post my last ablation, having had very little in the way of AF, it is back with avengance unfortunately. Started Thursday with increased PVCs and SVEs which developed into AF and then tachycardia/flutter at 140 bpm. I rang arrhythmia nurse who said to increase my sotalol and monitor

Hi all! I hope someone can help. After years of telling my doctors that I have regular PVCs, sometimes constantly all day for literally weeks, and they all just told me that wasn't happening, I finally saw a cardiologist who says I have idiopathic RVOT and advised me to get a Kardia 6L. (Which is

Ablation for all types of AF?
I was reading a recent post - To 'ablate or not to ablate' by Tamgirl. Most responses were yes to ablation. I ask this question of everybody on each side of the fence. Do you know what type of AF you have? Your type of AF may have had a bearing on your decision to ablate or hold of on ablation. Vagal

Stopping flecainide advice needed
I suffer with SVT and idiopathic VT, for which I take 50mg flecainide x1 a day and I also take 10mg propranolol at least x2 a day. I went for an EP study and ablation last year in October but unfortunately the ablation was not possible, due to not being able to set off any SVT or VT episodes. I stopped

Birth Control Pill Question
I usually have periods that last 5 days. Would I still be protected on the 7 week break (sugar pills/placebos) since on 2 days I don't have my period. Also I barely get blood so would I still be protected if I start the pill on those lighter days?

Unable to get a full hysterectomy.
Hi I was wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me. I am 43 years old and up until November 2022 had never received any procedure for my condition, I was disagnosed over 10 years ago and was given 3 options - the pill, a procedure that would remove endometriosis but I was assured it would come back

Not recurred in almost 5 years
I got regular bursts of self-resolving Afib since the age of 19, ten minutes here and there. During this time I was chronically low carb dieting and overexercising. My longest episode was in 2019, at age 29, where I woke up in it. Went to A&E and it self resolved about 10 hours later. Had PACs/PVCs since

Have the symptoms, shame the doctor didnt want to know.
She then asked if I was using
contraception
. I told her no as my husband recently had a vasectomy and the
contraception
I have tried made me bleed and the others I am too over weight for. The only one I haven't tried is the mirena coil and I am not keen on trying it either.

A long post - How medication was ruining my life, not making me better! Reassurance for anyone concerned about stopping medication.
Hi ladies. A very Happy New Year to you all! I am hoping that 2023 treats you all with improved health and a wealth of happiness. I have seen a lot of posts recently appearing on my feed regarding treatments and hormones, and so I just wanted to share my recent experience of stopping all treatments.
