I'm not here to recommend but for me personally, I had lots of ectopic's after my ablation, which drove me up the wall, so looked on here and saw people saying magnesium turate was helping to lower the frequency of there episodes, so I started taking them and for me it did, here I am 5 years later, AF free and hardly notice the odd ectopic. So good luck with whatever you decide
I had them too after ablation. It was concerning and I mentioned them to my chiropractor. She suggested that I try going gluten free, so I did. That was in 2016. Been gluten/wheat free since. Only 2 times since had accidental wheat and got tons of these. I avoid wheat to say the least. Aspartame and sucralose both will cause them for me too. As long as I avoid those ingredients I am good. Not saying that is the cause, but paying attention to ingredients and affects is a good practice.
Hi , after my ablation 6 yrs ago now my AF burden was bad for the first couple of months 2 weeks after I had it , then they seemed to ease off But still get them on a daily basis but only for a few minutes , alcohol will make them worse. But gladly no AF since.
I deveoped them months after my ablation and after my 3 months post ablation review. They got worse, more noticable . Then after a few months when they had NOT done anything bad to me I stopped focussing and they ( mostly) went away. Excessive worrying causes palpitations for most people, and it becomes a vicious circle when you are focssed on your heart. . If you can convince yourself they are benign and dont worry about them they will be less obvious.I still get them nearly 6 years later. Mostly when I catch a bug. Sometimes the palpitaions forecast I am developing something as I get them first before the sore throat or whatever. .
It's not uncommon -- I had them after my first two ablations, and they began two weeks after the ablation itself. I don't recall how long they lasted, but since I didn't document them in my a-fib diary, they must not have lasted too long. Hoping that's the same for you.
I had my ablation on September 19th and started having ectopic beats about 3 weeks later. I’m still getting them now, they seem worse at night and first thing in the morning. I put the same question on here and it seems very common after ablation. Suppose we have to grin and bear it and hope they disappear eventually. Still not received an appointment for my 3 month follow up, which would have been round about 19th December. I suppose with all these. Doctors strikes, it won’t be for a while yet. Hoping they’ll do an ECG then and be able to tell me what’s going on with my heart, although I don’t think they worry about Ectopic beats, it would help to be re-assured. Hope you get on ok and the nasty AFib stays away.
