The ups and downs of our rollercoaster OC journeys
When I recovered from debulking earlier this year I gave myself a good talking to and vowed not to let myself go from blood check to blood check worrying about them. AST/ALT Ratio
I've just joined as I've been worrying myself sick with online data regarding AST/ALT ratio. My liver function test results came back within range but when I use the ratio calculator it says I have liver cerrhosis or chronic hepatitis. Thanks for any help.

Looking for feedback regarding Asymptomatic Afib
I'm fairly new to this forum and I already feel at home. It's very refreshing to find an online community whose members are so kind, understanding and generous. By way of introduction, I'm a 69-year-old male living in Connecticut. My Afib history is as follows: Diagnosed with Afib by PCP - 8/9/

Serum cortisol test results
Hello all, Further to my saliva cortisol test (link to post below), I requested a serum cortisol test at my GPs (8.45am, yesterday): Serum cortisol level 381 nmol/L >350 nmol/L makes adrenal insufficiency unlikely Is this in keeping with my less-than-optimal-and-occasionally-below-range saliva results

Greater use of Benlysta, Saphnelo seen in US, EU to treat lupus
Goal to reduce long-term glucocorticoids use to prevent side effects
In both the U.S. and Europe, clinicians want to limit treatment with glucocorticoids — steroid hormones whose long-term use for autoimmune diseases is tied to serious side effects — among people with moderate to severe lupus

New to RA /methotrexate looking for advice.
Been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis a few weeks ago and starting methotrexate tomorrow which I’m starting on 10mg for 2 weeks then 15mg for 2 weeks then 20mg from there, also 5mg of folic acid the other six days and 5mg of prednisone for now but reducing it. Do I need to worry about anything ?

When to do certain blood tests and why.
Just coming up on my 6 month anniversary of radiation and my 2 months prior to radiation and 4 months post Lupron while on radiation. So I have been off Lupron for 2 months. I had my annual physical yesterday and my GP had ordered complete blood panel with thyroid and PSA. There were no issues with blood
