Pubic/Pelvic area swelling
Hi, I have post-endometrial-cancer Lymphodema in my right leg and pubic/pelvic areas. I can just about manage the leg with compression garments, self massage, exercise and diet, but the lower belly area underneath where I had radio therapy seems impossible to manage. Nothing I do seems to help it. I

Hello. I recently found about this site and this is my first post here, so I want to wish everyone here good luck and health. My father (64 years old) started to feel numbness in legs 2 weeks ago, shortly after that he needed someone's help or forearm crutch to walk and now he uses crutch while walking

worry about the future with stage 4 cancer and RLS and ILMD
I have been following this website for about nine months and wanting to give up Ropinerole but have put off doing it as I have been undergoing treatment for cancer I.e. surgery and radiotherapy. I thought once that was over I would be able to get an appointment with a London clinic to support me through

Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy for new recurrent prostate cancer nodule.
Is it reasonable to use Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy for small local recurrent prostate cancer nodule? And if not successful still use SR at a later date?

Considering options regarding salvage radiation.
"I had robotic radical prostatectomy in April 2019 with Gleason Score of 4+3, clear margins, and unilateral nerve sparing, (one seminal vesicle implicated). Since surgery I now have no problems with incontinence, and using Trimix injection (12 units) has work well for the ED. 18 months post-operation

Hello, I start 6 weeks of radiotherapy at end of this month.
My journey to hospital is around 85 mins and I would like to know of anyone in similar situation found it was OK to drive myself to/from hospital daily. Also I work for myself from home (admin'y type from home). How did you find mental ability to work. Any other tips and advice gratefully received ☺️

Other Gleason 8 guys, I see in studies, research and in on going trials, Radical Prostatectomy shows better over all survival
On another site yana, ( you are not alone, a prostate survival story site) a site of survival stores all the Gleason 8 with Radiology Prostatectomy, have longer survival, some guys are still alive after 10, 12 years and I talk to a few that actually had RP after metastatic spread… There are now

Non secreting PSA - How often will PC be monitored
Hi all, my husband has just completed chemotherapy and he will have scans middle of January and will start radiotherapy beginning of February. My concern is how he will be monitored as he’s non secreting. His PSA was within normal limits when he was diagnosed with APC but did drop when treatment

diabetes and prostate cancer
I’m a stage lll patient with a tumor out and against the rectum. 18 months of ADT lupron and zytiga with near 40 rounds of radiation. I’ve been reading about a relationship between diabetes and prostate cancer. I was told that my treatment (reducing my testosterone) probably caused it to increase dramatically

CAC Score of 477, what next?
Greetings, I always had borderline high cholesterol (190/200), In 2019 had a CT scan and was a bit shocked that it was 477 as I was very active with Crossfit..etc. That number, according to Dr. Google, is shockingly bad, and I stress every time I think about it. My cardiologist gave me a stress treadmill
