Third Neurologist
He totally disagrees with second neurologist about post
concussion
and variant migrain. Not to take over the counter pain relief because of rebound headaches. Tricky!! 2 week gap endorphins will settle. Spine mri in his opinion not needed. But periodic brain ones.

Second impact syndrome can happen when a second
concussion
occurs hours, days or even weeks after the first
concussion
. The severity of the
concussion
often does not matter. Even two mild concussions, if they happen in close enough proximity, can result in SIS.

Waiting on referral...advice greatly received.
I have had a few clear CT's over that time (repeat ones have usually been because I've hit the deck and given myself
concussion
. ) I don't have any idea when they are going to happen.

Still struggling with the
concussion
, but I know I’m not doing everything I should to help myself. Still struggling with stress and anxiety but I think those are going to stay put until the
concussion
is under control. Plus I’m STILL tapering off this damn Ativan, which doesn’t help.

Weird sensation
No one I’ve talked to other than a friend who had a
concussion
understands what I mean. No I don’t feel nauseous but my head feels like throwing up. Sometimes I’ll also have tingling. I get extremely confused and disoriented easily. Could someone try to maybe explain what’s going on?

Post concussion syndrome
My son has been diagnosed with post
concussion
syndrome after 3 years. He is being treated for eye problems following accident visual shifted and 3 other eye diagnostics and needs 8 months of rehab. Its frustrating it took so long. He had contant headaches and we are thinking of cbd oil.

Feeling down
I’ve lost the past 5 months to anxiety, depression and this
concussion
. I haven’t worked since Black Friday. My husband works 7 days a week so I spend the majority of my days alone. I can’t drive. Everyone else works so I’m left to myself.

Venting/advice Post Concussion Syndrome
Sorry soooo long. I’m almost 2 years post car accident with a diagnosis of Post Comcussive Syndrome. For about a year and a half I have been going to OT and for a year Speech therapy. I was also going to PT but was discharged a few months ago. In order to get back to work- I’m a school nurse, I volunteer

Feeling stuck
It has been really hard dealing with a
concussion
while tapering off Ativan. The
concussion
symptoms increased my anxiety symptoms, which is why I’m on the Ativan. But now tapering off gives me anxiety.
Concussion
therapy increases my symptoms, which gives me anxiety.

Random update
My chiropractor was concerned that my
concussion
symptoms seemed to be getting worse, so I’m going every day this week, minus today. But then I started feeling “better” toward the tail end of last week. But feeling better almost makes me feel discouraged!

Started doing my
concussion
exercises at home, but it’s been kinda hard trying to do them when I’m already dizzy. I don’t want to do exercises that are meant to make me dizzier! My upper cervical chiropractor appts don’t seem to be doing anything.

Concussion symptom?
Has anyone ever experienced a period of hypersexuality after a
concussion
or with post-
concussion
syndrome? Don't have to go into detail it just appears that the correlation for this symptom is recognised with more serious or debilatating head injuries.

Anyone on here dealing with
concussion
issues? Apparently I have post
concussion
syndrome.. lots of headaches, head pressure and dizziness. Dealing with anxiety/depression and med changes on top of it. Saw an upper cervical chiropractor yesterday and am now feeling a little worse. Wtfffffffff. 😓

So over this!
Between that and the
concussion
I’m just spent. Been dealing with these situations since Black Friday and I want to be DONE already. :( I try SO hard to be patient and positive and take one day at a time but I’be spent my entire life dealing with health problems and missing out on things.

Case of the blahs
Somehow I felt like the Ativan was helping with the
concussion
headaches/dizziness though. Coincidence? The headaches seem to be getting worse again which is really depressing. I try hard to remind myself none of this is permanent, but it’s hard. :/

Progress and setbacks??
The meds, the anxiety, the
concussion
? Plus I started wearing prism glasses for the
concussion
so is it those?? Seeing an upper cervical chiropractor tomorrow since they use xrays to look for misalignments closer to the brain stem. Been popping Tylenol every morning to get through the day.
