My son has been diagnosed with post concussion syndrome after 3 years. He is being treated for eye problems following accident visual shifted and 3 other eye diagnostics and needs 8 months of rehab. Its frustrating it took so long. He had contant headaches and we are thinking of cbd oil.

Having post concussion syndrome myself and been told oh you can’t have it longer than 2 years, then Headway told me that isn’t true. I’ve been treated badly by some Drs just dismissing me, using depression as a issue, I was in a 100 mile hour head on RTA and you think I might of had compassion but Drs treated all definitely. So 5 years later I got property diagnosed with chronic migraines and post concussion syndrome with functional overlay all at Kings hospital LONDON who have been brilliant. But it’s a hard road when comes to brain and they can’t see something on MRI’s or not the normal head injuries. Good luck with it all, and getting best treatment xx

Hi,

I have post concussion syndrome and about 10 months in I visited an oesteopath which helped dramatically- have continued doing the recommended exercises daily over the past few months. Obviously everyone is different with what works for them/ I still do struggle and have lower limits than before but is it definately what has helped the most so far inmy recovery. All the best.

I found the diagnostic myself by never giving up had 8 doctors they never saw anything even neurologist my physio put himself in his books and found one diagnosis. My manager gave me a head up and then was connected with a clinical nurse who comfirmed diagnosis. He is being treated by pupils vision for 8 months rehab after 3 years of headaches due to his eyes. I do research on my own i will take to the vlinicsl nurse of trauma and ask opinion see if I can get prescrrption for it md have not been great for me

you keep going back to the gp and banging on his desk to do something, you dont go through books in the hope that one day youll get it right.........by that time you could have fucked him up for good.

Theres some woefully inadequate gps..and you do simply sometimes need to demand action i find.
