I’m currently on
Concerta
and trying supplements such as flaxseed and tyrosine. Adderall and Vyvanse had to many side affects such as anxiety and aggression. I’m in my mid fifties now struggling with menopause as well. What a disastrous combination.

Exhausted, worried, single mom
The last appointment he increased his
Concerta
, and added 1 mg. Generic intuniv. The last few weeks he’s done great, he even earned his Friday snacks 2 weeks in a row. After school today, he was upset because I wouldn’t let him play basketball up at his school, it was cold and rainy out.

Concerta question
Fast forward to a few trial and error sessions later, we found
Concerta
(27 mg) really works for him. His impulsivity and focus improved, and his excessive talking seemed to mellow a bit.

Hi, My son has been diagnosed with Adhd, and was put onto

Concerta yes or no?
I had him re-evaluated today and the doctor suggested
Concerta
. I really didn’t want another stimulate. I just want my child to succeed in school. Anyone have any issues with it before or do you suggest something else to try? I’m torn on what to do 😞

ADD medication side effects - Concerta 36mg
I've been on a generic drug for
concerta
36mg and its really helped with focus and productivity,as well as emotional regulation.my anxiety which is normally quite severe has all but gone.however the 1 thing that is really challenging is it does open you up to other "addictions" or hyperfocus on things

My boyfriend and I both have ADD/ADHD but I HATE his medications
I take
Concerta
and he takes Adderall. The issue is that I hate what Adderall does to my boyfriend. He hates it too, but it’s the only thing that works for him and without it he probably won’t get to or through med school and he will make an amazing doctor I my opinion.

New to ADHD and Meds
He is 6 years old and he just started taking
Concerta
last week. I think it’s helping a little bit but he is having trouble sleeping at night. He has never had issues before with sleeping. Has anyone else’s children been on this medication and had trouble sleeping?

ADHD Medications - Avoiding the trial and error
I tried Ritalin LA and
Concerta
both were not right for me and had emotional side effects. Is there a way to avoid more attempts as those are hard.

CBD Oil ....Maybe
He currently takes
Concerta
, after trying others, and we hate the side effects. If he does not take the meds I’m getting calls from school. He was also diagnosed with a learning disability this past year at school.

Concerta (Methylphenadate) side effects
My 10 year old takes 36 mg er generic
Concerta
and 1 (or 2) 10 mg boosters of same daily. Besides difficulty falling asleep, and lack of appetite side effects, he has been having aggressive outbursts-- throwing things, pushing over chairs, hitting his sisters, etc.

Meds on weekend?
My son was prescribed Metadate (
concerta
? Ritalin? Not sure what it is..) because Adderall was making him so aggressive, defiant, and not sleep. I know some people choose not to medicate on the weekends but some meds are better to give on weekends because they build up in their system.
