My 10 year old takes 36 mg er generic Concerta and 1 (or 2) 10 mg boosters of same daily. Besides difficulty falling asleep, and lack of appetite side effects, he has been having aggressive outbursts-- throwing things, pushing over chairs, hitting his sisters, etc. Could this be a side effect of the medication?

If the behavior began after he started Concerta, then it may be related. Easy way to find out is to stop the ADHD medications for a few days and see if the aggression stops.
Could definitely be a side effect. Unfortunately. Check in with his doctor.
