Comtan

I take sinamet comtan and amantadine. Recently my foot flop has gotten worse. I can’t tell if I should take my medicine sooner than usual.

My Neurologist said that he didn’t think that there was a link with these cancers to Comtan and that, some men of around my age did suffer from Prostate Cancer even if not taking Comtan.

Now what I’m about to put here comes from an extensive study into a medication called, Comtan, also known as, Entacapone. This information was made available to consumers when Comtan was approved for sale in Canada.

It reminds me when I was prescribed Comtan early on in combo with sinemet that caused similar symptoms. Is there something in the ER that's not in the IR? thanks

hi, I’ve had a cold and cough for 7 days now and having been having AF episodes lasting from 30mins - 5hours almost daily. Normally I would get an episode once a month at worst. Can colds and coughs bring on more regular occurances of AF?

Hello Can I ask I anyone on filgotinib, if you get cold (which feels like it's a head cold all stuffed up) and sore throat, do you stop filgotinib till its better or keep taking it? Context: had my first dose (200mg Madopar and a Comtan) at 7 am. Came on by 7.30, went really well until by 9.30 I could feel that I was going OFF. At 8, I’d had a breakfast of chia seeds (I’m such a ‘modern man’ 😂🙄), oats with banana and almond milk.

hi, does anyone else feel like having endometriosis makes things like colds and flu worse?? I’m sure I read somewhere that endometriosis can affect the immune system, think it’s linked with leaky gut. I seem to get colds a lot and when I do, they completely wipe me out, and they tend to flare up my endometriosis

His movement disorders specialist said these were off period symptoms so she tried him on Comtan which made him manic so she took him off that and switched him from sinemet to Rytary.

I take two 25/100 sinamet, one comtan and one amantadine around 8:00 am. About 4 hours latepr I take another two 25/100 sinamet with one amantadine then another two 25/100 about 3 1/2 to 4 hours later my last 25/100 sinamet.

I have been feeling much better but now I’m feeling over-medicated on my Madopar/Comtan dose. I have already cut back my Madopar by about a third, but still feeling I need less. I would love to reduce or ideally stop taking the Comtan altogether.
