Cholestyramine
My husband has had explosive diarrhea since mid February. After blood tests, stool samples, colonoscopy, and more stool samples, they are not able to determine what is causing the diarrhea. The doctor has prescribed Cholestyramine. Has anyone had experience with this medication and did it help?

I've been on Budesonide for about 6 years on & off. After the first long taper I managed well for a long time. MicroscopicCollageonous Colitis was diagnosed. Mostly when taper finished there is only a week or 2 them cycle starts again. Another colonoscopy was in Jan this year conforming the diagnosis

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum. For some time I had what felt like burning in my sternum and what seemed to be a heartbeat in my stomach. I thought I had either an ulcer or anxiety. Felt silly saying this to GP but I had been anxious about work. Following an examination of stomach by GP, he said

Another FMT Study Showing Benefit In People With PD With Just One Transplantation Over One Year With Lasting Results
Previously I mentioned that I am waiting for the results from the Helsinki FMT/PD trial which has completed last summer, but not yet released their results. your thoughts welcome
Here's my update since last posts and would love your thoughts.... Had TV ultrasound again nearly a month ago now with another gynae. She said that my cyst on left ovary is a complex cyst and she does not think it cancer at moment. She said it is 4/5 risk of becoming cancer in time. Advice remove left

Colonoscopy v Colonography
Has anyone else been told they have a loopy bowel and it is not advisable to have a colonoscopy anymore. They recommended ct colonography, but i am worried about the amount of radiation this needs. Apparently 2yrs normal exposure in one go. Anyone else had this predicament?

It worked and did stop it happening everyday but for some weird reason past 3 weeks I've had all my symtoms back again with vengeance

Waiting for results after Hysterectomy
Hello everyone, I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy ( with conservation of ovaries) at the beginning of this month. I am 40 years old. I had fully expected the surgery to find Endometriosis however there wasn't any. I am now waiting on the pathology test results on what was removed. I am wondering

What exclusionary tests should I ask my doctor for? IL-6 inflammation tests? + other random PMR questions
I'm a 44-year old woman fairly confident I have PMR due to the symptoms I've experienced & the dramatic success of prednisone in treating them. (I put a longer backstory in my profile - which I'm assuming you can access.) I worry somewhat about GCA involvement because when my symptoms have been strong

Anyone on Zanubrutinib experience back and leg pain?
I started Zanubrutinib at the end of July in 2023. For the last few months, I have experienced low back pain and pain in my upper thighs. This is much worse at night. I stopped for 3 days before and after for a colonoscopy. I am on my 5th day and for the first time in several months I had very little

Officially Starting HD
So, my labs have finally gotten to the point where they've decided I need to start dialysis. eGFR at 6, high BUN, and high phosphorus point toward starting. I've had my (brachia-encephalic) AV fistula for a year. Because I've had it so long without actually using it, we've decided that it's a good
