Colpermin, paracetamol and ibuprofen...
He told me to take
colpermin
peppermint oil (an anti spasmodic to relax it) paracetamol and ibuprofen for the pain and these all together should work like tramadol but without the side affects.

Chronic Diarrhea, potential IBS?? Advice please as doctors aren’t helping!
They advised I shouldn’t take Imodium (day six without and struggling), I’ve tried
Colpermin
IBS relief and don’t feel they’re doing much. The doctor didn’t say much else to be honest, didn’t even hint at what they thought it could be.. so I’m not feeling confident in them right now.

My Years with IBS
I have not found prescription medicine much more effective than my
Colpermin
, but try, in hope! I wish I could give everyone some wonderful advice, but there is no easy solution from my long experience as an IBS sufferer.

Right rib pain, upper back pain, bloated and lots of wind!
I've tried colofac, mebeverin to no effect and this new gastro has advised me to try peppermint so i've bought some
colpermin
. The gastro is chalking it upto IBS or something functional with my bowel but i don't have D or C.

30 years of IBS and it's changing
It has become much worse in last few months and I have tried loads of things (
colpermin
, omeprazole included) and done research and food diary and exclusion diet...all by myself.

GRUMBLE-GRUMBLE
Tried
Colpermin
pepperment oil tablets but they seem to give me the runs. I am either very constipated or loose occasionally.

Ibs - constipation
She gave me duphalac (think that’s how you spell), movicol, buscopan and
colpermin
. Buscopan was amazing and takes the pain away in literally 15 mins.
Colpermin
also works wonders for me and gives off a lovely peppermint smell and taste!

What meds have helped ease your IBS?
I do, sometimes take
colpermin
and charcoal but they are not helping anymore with the constant growling, spasm type feeling and bad wind.

Never ending Bloat
GP is becoming unsympathetic- just says accept its IBS and gave me
Colpermin
peppermint caps last week. I'm now thinking Candida? Anyone got this? Also has anyone tried Symprove? Supposed to be a miracle probiotic and has good reviews but is expensive. Thanks Frankie1955

New symptom?
I had ice and a hot water bottle on the area and took 2
Colpermin
. It came on suddenly about 2 hours after eating a meal and I’d been to the toilet 3 times that day, so don’t think it was trapped wind or anything like that.
